Tottenham Vs Sunderland

Thankfully their parked bus wasn't enough to deny us 3pts today... will be glad to have Mason back to help pick such stubborn locks in future tho... and Fazio to help reduce the number of mistakes from our CBs...

@MC_of_A: xG map for Spurs-Sunderland. Look at that vast empty area in the Sunderland danger zone. Lots of shots I guess.

I love Michael Caley on twitter. Really good stats based analysis. Also a proper Spurs fan. His Xg maps are one of my favourite parts of match day.

It is absolutely bizarre. It that situation, the linesman will be standing on the halfway line as you say. I don't understand how it is possible to get it wrong. It's as if he forgot that you can't be offside in your own half, but that can't be true, surely? It's impossible to fathom.

Just got in ..to go through the game.,.

first thing a linesman learns at junior level...can't be off from running from your own half...

has to be anti spurs linesman....we could have lost 3 points.........................................................................................................................

Even Phil Thompson slams the assistant referee! "He deserves to be nailed! That was an absoult shocking decision."

I'd be interested to see what those at the game thought as I imagine they would be in the same position as the ref watching the ball, there didn't seem much uproar in the back ground.

foy is gonna blow his whistle against us at every opportunity, we know this

Remember the stoke away game then I think the same fixture the following year. Scandalous "mistakes" going against us every time that *unt walks on the pitch.

We were in shock at the game at such a bad decision

The Ref was his usual awful self.. But the offside was so bad

We played ok today ... Was comfortable and Sunderland came for a point .Foy was useless as usual.
Plus had a touch my game called off today so managed to nab a ticket for my boy and myself for 50 squid for the pair on Stub Hub not bad at all

Was too busy cheering and celebrating, honestly today the officials were some of the worst ID seen at the Lane is 30 years of going, Foy well words fail me

Very impressive how he (and the other metrics guys) converts the raw data so quickly into these clear graphics for the footballing masses to digest. Can only imagine how much of this sort of thing that Poch' backroom staff analyse between games.

I thought the lino was terrible, but Foy was alright. He blew up for a lot of fouls, but we made a lot of fouls. He could easily have booked Dembele for persistent fouling in the first half imo, but chose not to. He got his bookings about right and didn't make any major f**k ups like he has done against us in the past.
