OMT: Tottenham vs Emirates Marketing Project

It's not lost on anyone. You're just being emotional for no bloody reason. As i said before, you can criticise the decsion making of a player even if we do put on a good performance. A mistake is a mistake and it's doesn't matter if it was made when we played well or when we didn't play well. Nobody is saying player X is brick or player X should be dropped. There were basic errors that cost us today and hopefully we learn from it. That's all.

In fairness you are right. My post was influenced by some other threads where some have described some of our players as brick, and looked for spacegoats. I should have kep my comments for them more specifically, because your approach here is entirely reasonable. But I do think on the issue of individual mistakes, it is a fair point if a player is doing something repeatedly. But in King's case it really was such an unusual mistake for him to make. I am sure he will be gutted tonight after playing so well and yet seeing the game turn as it did.

But on this topic, one mistake which does cause us problems is the repeated failures to beat the first man from wide area crosses. Especially in the first half it caused us some real problems. But generally I am very happy with how we performed today, and how far we have come. Still much improvement to be made if we want to challenge the top, but the foundations are there.

Lee dixon is an%%*^

Anyone watching match of the day2

how on gods green earth can he say it was not a stamp????????

im actually in shock here what are the swear words we are allowed to use on this website i wish to know, right now i shall just call dixon a danchev so you are all aware what he is.

Adam/Downing or Parker/Bale. I know who I'd rather have in my team. The dippers are struggling to come to terms with the fact that they're not the greatest team in the world. They've only had the best part of twenty years to get used to it.

Delighted to see how pathetic them lot are. Let them live in their King Kenny fantasy land.

did they say anything about the elbow from Lescott, which was more conclusive than the stamp imo ?

They did mention that one, and Hansen said red. Even 'that wasn't a stamp' Dixon agreed. Hoping the FA do him and Balotelli for both. But pains me to say that MOTD analysis is dross compared to Neville and Souness on sky today.

It is at least a yellow... he was already on a yellow therefore he would have been off..

At least they were more realistic about lescott...

Both Lescott and Balotelli should have been off but really, not the first time that we've been screwed by Howard Webb, is it?

This was one away game I couldn't go to on account of long-standing family commitments, and as is customary for me, if I'm not there in person, I tend not to watch on telly.

Having read the analysis, and decided not to watch MOTD, to now see the two clips above.....

Anybody who fudging defends Bellendelli deserves their balls being microwaved. Can't believe anybody would actually say "Oh, he was off balance". fudge off. I've been off balance plenty of times. Doesn't make me kick my fudging foot backwards.

And as for Lescott. What a clown shoe. Blatantly a red.

I was so gutted today. Having seen the score update when we came back from two down. To then see four minutes added time, and we concede a pen right at the end. Gutted. No other way to describe it.

And I now have a cold. fudging Emirates Marketing Project. Given me a fudging cold, and I didn't even go. fudgers. I'll now always remember them for giving me a cold. I hate them.

This really is a test of the FA. They need to get a grip of some of these offences. But I won't hold my breath on Webb reporting these two offences in his match report. Hope I am wrong though.

Whilst I think you're right, it still does fudge all for us now sadly. Would rather they give us the point we were robbed of than Balotelli being suspended for 3 games.
