***OMT***Tottenham Hotspur FC v Woolwich Wanckers

All those Scummy plastic fans singing about winning the league at The Lane and winning the Scum way! I wonder how many of those fans have set foot in White Hart Lane or how many of them know about their Scummy history before Wenger and the Premier League because football did exist before 1992!

I would have taken a draw before the game but feel a little bit gutted now as thought we were going to take all three points! It wasn't an eye catching fantastic performance but it was a very good unlike Tottenham one and one we thoroughly deserved!

Kaboul was immense putting in a captains performance but typical Arsenal to scam a goal through a series of miskicks and ricochets!

We have got fight, we can battle, work hard and grind out results so no more excuses! Let's kick on from this and make it a season to remember!

£64 and unable to buy a drink in the ground...treated like criminals through about 4 or 5 security checks...not even allowed to put your own ticket through the turnstile! Let's make sure we give them the royal welcome in the return match!

What exaclty do you mean by Eriksen "cheating". Lennon was awful when he came on. Granted Eriksen didn't have the best game, but he still won the ball back just before the goal. With Lennon we will get good defensive cover, but absolutely **** all going forward.
Eriksen was OK, but it was the right time to sub him. By cheating, I mean that he EVENTUALLY gets back in position, but a better defensive minded player would be in that space a lot quicker! We could have been punished many times for that, but luckily we didn't. I'm not saying he shouldn't play, but playing him wide means we are a bit exposed on that side.

Eriksen has the least stamina out of the 3 at the top of the midfield, so I understood why he came off although I felt Lamela was creeping close to getting a red.

He really is becoming the heir to VdV... doesn't take the game by the scruff of the neck like Rafa but shares his inability to last 90 minutes...

Yeah. If he could come up with the same amount of goals and assists as VdV we'd all be happy :)

we shouldn't have won it but we could have won it
it still feels like a win to me.

the arsenal boys were in overdrive trying to rout us and unfortunately did themselves in with some crucial injuries that will lose them points LOL.

They tried to slow the game, and to make the game last as little as possible.

I would like to see English referees do something about it. They should be booking players. People pay good money to see matches.

Aww, did someone not let your kids have everything their way again?

we were not particularly good. lack of intensity. early on looked like a training exercise. we were too slow out of the blocks..again.

BUT no more managerial changes please. this transformation is going to take a hell of a lot longer than 5 games and i am still unconvinced that some of our first team are able to adapt to Poch's philosophy. with a couple of seasons and more transfer windows and what not, we may progress forward with Poch at the helm. as long as the footy is not "turgid", i'll live.

We did exactly what we had planned on doing, so it was actually a pretty good performance. The lack of intensity was deliberate and there was really no reason to get into a high tempo game with a lot of back and forth.

What is wrong with Danny Mills?

Does he dislike us?

Commentary so biased.

Saying that challenge with Chambers/Rose was a 50/50 when it wasnt

Telling the ref not to get carry away with the crowd making noise

Laying into Özil already too

Ox booked for that? seriously?

Welbeck class!

Our midfield is nonexistant second time we've had 3/4 against 1/2 at the back.

You and your eyebrows can **** off Kaboul.

Our opponents always look more dangerous than we do when we win a corner.

Chadli is like the Giroud of wingers.

We've created fvck all. Had the ball for 90% of the game so far and created sweet jack sh!t. Again.

One of the weirdest NLD's I can remember. We were on top for virtually the whole game but one awful moment from Flamini made us drop 2 points, and overall we were shaky at the back.

We did deserve to win though just like against City, but it wasn't to be. So I guess we need to take this on the chin and move on, like always.

I can't stand Flamini.

Dissappointing result, we really should have won this.

What's the point of dominating possession and territory when we create **** all and look like conceding from every turnover? Exact same thing for the first 30 mins again City. Adebayor and Chadli ****** up some massive chances when we were on completely dominant today at 0-0, and we were creating nothing. We may as well give up on corners at this stage as well.

We're a ******* shambles. No structure in attack and weak as **** at the back. More rudderless garbage from a manager that has completely lost it Im afraid.

Also, fancy Kaboul to churn out his one solid performance per season against us. ****.

What a ******* ****show, can't believe we failed to beat this pathetic Spurs side. We've got so many quality players but out on the pitch we look like a bunch of headless chickens. No balance in the team either, still looking so porous at the back. Shaping up to be a poor start to the season.

Worst Spurs team in years and we made them look rock solid.

Too many average players in our side currently.

I mean when we will stop gifting teams goals i mean seriously this is getting very annoying spuds done f**k all today i mean F**K ALL But we manage to gift them a goal thanks to f**king Flamini who costed us the 3 points today just like he did against Emirates Marketing Project can't stand him anymore very stupid player.

and now we have 3 new injures and a midfield crisis this is just unbelievable.

To think we'll most likely be behind Man Utd next week, after we've had our annual bumming at Chelsea, is ******* disgusting.

We had SO MANY FUC*ING CORNERS. And they were all ****. Despicable. What is going on with this team? Hopeless season really, so ****ed off with this result.

This kind of **** is exactly what everyone expected because we didnt buy a real DM or go big on a striker years ago. **** sake. Everyone at the club is blind, or at least Wenger is.

Why didn't they show a full replay of the Mertesacker header, surely it was closer to the line than the initial save.

I want to see a better replay of that too, it was the bounce after the save that looked like it might have crossed the line. Never got a good view of that situation.

Forgot about that, the goal line tech video looked bull**** to me, looked like they paused it early...

This is from Mertesacker header? this 100% goal. why the goal line technology didn't get it right?

I thought the ball crossed the line in real time, and that image backs it up. Fvck knows what the virtual image was trying to prove. I knew it was far more over the line than the computer generated image indicated. Weird.

Did Chadli really get booked for that celebration? Thought he must of took his shirt off. Truly pathetic thing give some a yellow for.

felt that spurs were really lacking in confidence in the first half an hour and were there for the taking. But we fannied about and it eventually dawned on them that these lot aren't anything special and we may as well have a go!

Knew this wouldn't be an easy game. Not because Spurs are any good, but we are absolutely clueless at the moment both defensively and going forward. No structure or shape whatsoever, even by our standards.

Fully expect another good old rodgering next week and then we have a 9 point gap. Goodbye title.

Can we forfeit the game against Chelsea? Think I'll avoid everything football related for a month after next weekend.

Just look at this Tottenham team, Arsenal really should beating them especially at home. So much is wrong with Arsenal at the moment, the formation, set-pieces etc. Look at Chadli's goal for example Flamini shouldn't be losing the ball like what but why did Mertesacker pass him the ball when he could have cleared it up the pitch and Szczesny's kicking has been awful recently.

Well, it's like déjà vu again and again.

"Dominating" without scoring. Defensive lapses.

After about 30 mins, I already felt we're gonna **** it up again. Was even more convinced of it at half time and it proved to be true.

This ridiculous attacking without scoring is really getting frustrating and boring.

TBH, half the time I'm not sure which team they're talking about.

i disagree. we looked disjointed. you can have intensity and keep your shape. just means closing down the passing routes quicker and as a team when arsenal had possession. let's be honest, without Lloris and arsenal's profligacy in front of goal , it would have been over by half time. BUT like i said, i am willing to give it much, much more time provided they play like they give a s.h.i.t.

Have to say, I agree with a few of them comments too. Lots of Arsenal fans realise they their team is very average and under Wenger they will never compete for the title again. Not being able to beat a very mediocre Spurs team at home can only compound their misery.

A draw was the right result.

There was only one joint that was truly disconnected, but there's wasn't a need for any high intensity pressing. Letting them pass it around in midfield was to our advantage. They weren't creating much anyway and it was just a matter of clearing crosses and trying to set up decent counter attacks.

Yeah, but the idea that the ball is actually over the line is just a visual illusion. The ball is in the air, which is why we can see the line.

Ah I get you. Makes sense now. Glad they dont have a mistake to bleat on about.

Huh? Arsenal barely created a chance before half time (I can only think of Wheelchair or whichever ****er it was shooting from the edge of the box), let alone in the second half. They put us under immense pressure, but created **** all thanks to our defensive efforts. I thought we followed the plan really well yesterday, granted we became very tired at the end. Too bad we didn't take more of our counter attacking chances in the first half, we could've been at least 2-0 up at half time.

6 chances/attempts before halftime with 3 good saves from Lloris plus all the possession they had. felt like they had so much time and space and were in control..but maybe it's just me...

Such a lucky equaliser from AFC, woeful airshot from their new £16m hotshot of course went straight to their player to almost miss but of course it went in
