*** TOTTENHAM Vs CHELSKI OFFICIAL OMT***

My mate whose a liverpool fan on facebook:

'great result for us, 4th is definitely still on'

You couldnt make this brick up :ross: :ross:

Second-half he wanted the ball, and yes, made an enormous difference. Ade knockers are doing so because he missed the chance which you'd have expected him to put away, but his performance today was superb...Livermore didn't miss a beat when he came on, really like the lad, and Saha was decent off the bench so Harry was justified there...

Sorry - I thought Saha was terrible. Added nothing, lost the ball nearly every time it came to him and his closing down was not existant,

Defoe may as well start planning his summer move.

Oh well.

To be honest if he'd've played today he would have scored. But we'd've lost something like 3-1.

The alround contribution of Rafa and Ade showed just why he's 4th choice.

Having calmed down now over Adebayor's failure to get a decisive enough foot on the feckin thing to get us the three points after he'd gone round Čech, I'm actually happy enough with the one. We matched them fair and square; could have excelled ourselves and didn't, but Jesus, Mary and Joseph, we need to step it up now over the run-in. That Bale feller, especially.

By a long way. In the first half he was head and shoulders our best player and bailed both Ekotto and Kaboul out of the brick by covering a couple of awful mistakes by them. He never stopped running the whole game and the amount of last ditch tackles and blocks he put in was superb.

Parker is always excellent when he plays that role. Its when he starts trying to do more his impact/performance suffers

He tries to shoot 9 times out of 10 which is frustrating but he did some good things today. At least he's getting himself involved again.

Header was brilliant and I thought the free kick was outstanding, but...

He is single handedly ruining attack after attack with his wild shooting from all angles and distances.

A good handful of times today alone he shot from miles out, poorly, wasting attacking positions where he had players to put in/build possession around the box with.

As well as that he seemed very lethargic I felt, rarely breaking out of a jog.

Shows what a player he is, when here I am having a go and yet he still performed very well by most other players standards

Ade's touch outside of the area is usually great, so what happens when he gets into the area? He has the first touch of a rapist! He is not even hitting the target and working the keeper. Anybody saying Adebayor was MOM, is very easily pleased IMO. I say this having all ready having stated that he was having a good game. He does however, need to start scoring!

Gary.

The thing with Ade is even when he has a bad game, when nothing seems to run for him, when his touch leaves him completely, he still has a massive impact on our side.

i thought the first touch for his chance was very good - close control and set him up for his 2nd. the 2nd touch was ok too, just didn't get good contact on the shot.

i wonder if he could have gone past Cech on the the other side.

all said and done, good solid, and at times dangerous performance, and no-one could have begrudged us 3 points out of that.

rot well and truly stopped, FA Cup semi chance on the way, Ade and Lennon should both be fit for next week... things are looking up for a big run-in.

COYS.

'Great performances' are all well and good but we failed to win today against a vastly inferior Chelsea side. The result wasn't good enough.

in the context of the two teams' respective recent runs, at a place where we haven't won since the MOTD presenter played up front, a point is a fair and respectable outcome.

Really good display by your boys, expected a win tbh but a draw is better than a Chelski win. Wish THFC the best over Chelsea every time, hope you finish in the top 4 this season, that's the least you deserve after a great year. Achieved with half of Arsenal's wage bill nonetheless!
