Anyone know much about him? From what I've seen (baring the fact he played in a defence that conceded 5 last night!) could be a good fit for us.
 
He's pretty well known and a beast of a player. Consensus is that he would cost a fortune as Wolfsburg aren't exactly poor.
 
Takes a lovely corner....I'm sure we will knock sh!t out of him if he joined us :)

Apparently UTD have made the first offer for him, that's according to a German Newspaper in Wolfsburg. Cannot understand why on earth they would do that, nor why he would go there knowing that Luke Shaw would be quickly pushing him for first choice in that spot.
 
There's a Knutson article floating around somewhere. He mentions that the last left back to post attacking stats like this kid at this age was Bale.

Absolute rubbish. Not only have they just signed Shaw, but the first thing LVG did was to convince Patrice Evra not to leave and get him to sign a new deal!
 
In my opinion we should be all in for him,
we've got good players for all other positions.
Sign the best possible player for the position we're lacking, strenghten the weakest point of our line up.

Mine too, but I think there may be other teams more likely to turn his head this summer (hope I'm wrong though).

Apparently Evra is on his way to Juve, 2 year deal......maybe LVG or Evra, or both have changed their minds
 
Is it so out of the question to try and buy Rodriguez for 18 mill instead of Davies for 12 mill? An extra 6 mill or so, surely we can stretch that far to really improve a weak area of our team. I know Utd are in for him but we can guarantee first team football and we are a step up from his current team. I think Baldini can work his magic on him if he was given the green light to start negotiations

I don't think it's out of the question, why would it be?

If we're not after him perhaps it's because our transfer team just thinks that Ben Davies is the better option?

Out of the question because of the price tag

Its a lot to spend 18 mill or more on a full back
