That is a great point. Spurs are now very much associated with CL success. All we need is a decent network to attract young, hungry players, who can progress their careers by signing for Spurs.

I was going to say that I wondered if either of those deals would have included bonus payments for winning the Champions League.
Those figures seem rather high though.

There is that which I agree with but I thought the main motivation for it was that any second balls the opposition would be off side etc. That was my thinking. I think you should always have one on the back post at the very least
