Fabrice Muamba

His grovelling is fantastic, yet so pathetic.

Find it amazing that he has the bare faced cheek to wish muamba a speedy recovery after abusing him

Whatever happens to the lad, today restored a bit of my faith in humanity. To see the whole ground joining in with the 'Fabrice Muamba' chant was truly emotional, and I can't imagine what the atmosphere was like both at the time and leaving the ground. I'll bet no matter what poor results we have in the future, nothing will compare to how the people who were there today felt walking out of the ground.

To witness how everybody came together and helped a fellow human in distress was really humbling to see though. Please get well soon Muamba. Whether he pulls through or not, the replay is sure to be a really emotional game.

Trust me you don't wanna know what it was like

Unbelievable day at the lane

A bloke next to me cried his eyes out for about 15 minutes

We were in row 2, and watching the CPR was sickening

So glad he's ok

the internet is naffing dangerous.

someone's just publicised this guy's possible address.

obv i won't post it - this is just a comment on how pervasive the web can be.

Honestly can't even begin to imagine mate. But the pictures on the box of people in tears was enough to send shivers down the spine.

Just hope he can pull through and a proper rousing tribute can be paid in the replay match.

You know it does go to show how short life could be though and makes you more philosophical especially when you see it in front of your eyes. I mean lets face it half the people on here are barely as fit as muamba, some drink, some smoke, some eat unhealthy etc yet you see a 23 yr old fit as fudge footballer just collapse.

Muamba was lucky because it could have happened anywhere and wouldnt have had the medical staff that he had on the pitch.

Freaks you out.

I guess it also shows how short life is huh makes you wanna just grab life by the balls and just live each day as if its your last.

Ok philosophy lesson over

Indeed. Trouble is so many people haven't a clue. They seem to assume the law stops at the internet, that some odd notion of freedom of speech/expression protects against any statement. Genuinely think this guy is going to face criminal prosecution and will be thrown out of Swansea Uni. It is really bad for the latter to have a student of theirs, posting shocking stuff like he did, trending on twitter (or at least provoking lots of attention).

oh and jobs also. Who would hire him? I know when we recruit, off the record we will google them and check facebook and twitter. Theyre more reliable than actual references

.

Especially when mob rule takes over, I don't know if anyone remembers the paediatrician whose home got attacked.
