--OMT-- TOTTENHAM vs Notlob

Game off, only sensible decision.

Im not a religious man, but I pray the kid will be fine. Even if he never gets to play football again, the important thing is that he survives.

Me neither but Amen to that Bro ..!!!

Just phoned my dad (who's at the game) and he said that he saw Muamba collapse when no-one was around him. Sad news, not sure about his well-being but we all know how serious it is.

Thoughts are with his friends and family.

Shocked and stunned, firstly that we were trailing, then that Muamba was struck by this affliction. Hope and pray Muamba pulls through.

I didn't see him go to ground, first time I knew anything was up I assumed, wrongly, that he had suffered a nasty leg break. It was only when Owen Coyle walked on to the pitch and the reaction of the fans around the ground that it became apparent that it was something this bad. :(

BBC:

Tottenham's FA Cup game against Bolton Wanderers has been abandoned after Trotters midfielder Fabrice Muamba collapsed and stopped breathing.

Medics spent 10 minutes trying to resuscitate the player on the field before the players were called off by referee Howard Webb

BBC Radio 5 live senior football reporter Ian Dennis says the midfielder is fighting for his life.

The score was 1-1 when Muamba, 23, collapsed with no players close-by.

Medical staff gave Muamba mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and tried to revive him with a defibrillator.

He was taken off the pitch on a stretcher and ESPN reported that he was not breathing as he was taken down the tunnel.

The former Arsenal midfielder has been taken to hospital.

fudgein' hell! :frown:
