Shame Lennon starts but I guess his defensive qualities will combat Shaw going forward. Paulinho or the current version of Townsend aren't exactly great alternatives so he's probably the lesser of three evils. I just hope that IF Lamela ever comes back, he's not sitting on the bench watching Lennon.

Suddenly Timbo's a clown because he's not starting Harry Kane? Really? What were you saying in the OMT for Benfica at home when Sherwood started Kane? I'll bet it wasn't complimentary.

Also, I don't really understand the set up you say Sherwood is going with...is it 2 up front and a diamond behind?
 
Little concerned, Southampton excellent at exploiting that space in front of back four. Both Dembele and Bentaleb can be a little sleepy when it comes to tracking men.

sorry, i haven't checked the league table recently, but are saints top of the league these days, blimey.

little spurs underdogs vs the juggernaut that is southampton. i only pray the lane doesn't crumble today and we still have a club left when the dust settles on this pulverising defeat at the hands of a bunch of demi-GHod young lions.
