****OMT - TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR VS Saudi Sportswashing Machine *********

Ha ha ha. That's hardly support. No goals and no creativity from those two in recent games. The main problem against Everton was a lack of support for Ade. Looks like it will be the same again. Poor selection IMO.

Maybe the weather has meant no Eriksen and Soldado. That's the only explanation I can think of. To play Lennon with no passers is just bonkers.

Early free kick from Walker to Ade. The ol 1-2 combo will win it for us

kick it long for lennon to chase onto

It's interesting how the team is developing under Sherwood. We've gone from a straight 4-4-2, to 4-4-2 with one of the wide players tucked in, to 4-2-3-1, to 4-3-3 in the last two games.

It certainly looks like he has moved towards the formations he used with the development squad and that the early tactics were used to settle the team and because of lack of time on the training pitch. And still he will be criticised for not being "good at tactics".

Does anyone think Sherwood's logic is that Dembele will offer Naughton more help defensively on the left than Eriksen, Chadli or Townsend?

Isn't Bentaleb a passer?

Don't get why we had to go 4-4-2, then back to how we've played under AVB. Why not move towards 4-3-3 right away?

Yup, because with Dawson in the side we have hardly won at all this season. And we are two points better off than at this stage last season.

Despite Dawson repeatedly ****ing up we have managed to pick up a fair amount of points.

We're missing Defoe (hamstring), Rose (concussion) and Sigurdsson (thigh) as well as Sandro, Lamela and Chiriches.

We were getting so close to a fully fit squad as well, and within the face of a few days we're back up to 6.

Good job its not Chelsea it would be all over Sky how their squad is ravaged by injuries

With that midfield, we need a direct threat like Townsend. If he is 100% fit, this game is made for him. Half time sub at the latest.

While Daws is no Kompany or Cahill and has his limitations, he has been part of a team that is doing decently given all the upheaval at the club. And most if not all of our defenders have made mistakes, and our midfield weakness has lead to them being under more pressure than they need to be. But hey, if you dislike Daws that much that's cool.

incorrect.

dembele played on the wing for man utd in his last (or one of the last) fulham game and was man of the match. motd did a feature on him in that role and how influencial he was. he actually played on the right of a 442 and was still dominant.

didnt they lose? THAT INFLUENCE.
