That's what I don't understand. Sandro and Dembele were good enough last season. Paulinho regularly impresses for Brazil. Soldado was one of the highest scorers in La Liga. No, I think the players are good enough. I just doubt the playing system.

There's no denying we have been poor, but if the ref does his job properly then it's 1-1 at half time and 11 vs 11 - always a chance to turn it around then.

AVB needs other coaches with him who can man manage and get the team motivated. Great analyser and tactician, but sh1t at getting the team psyched and playing as a confident team unit. Harry on the other hand, not a great tactician.

I don't believe that. The players are good enough, it's up to the manager to find the right way to get the best of each and every one of them, something AVB has been unable to do. I don't include Bale as I believe he was already at another level compared to the rest of the team and on a natural progression which AVB didn't overly influence other than to conclude he was our best option for winning a game.

He is a great statistician and analyser and thats about it.
