*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Sunderland, Saturday 7th December KO 17:30***

Excellent away performance and excellent away result.

I'm almost as pleased for AVB vs the bs media as I am for us and our points total.

Nope. AVB knows we have the capability to commit ghastly individual mistakes on a weekly basis, yet he sends our team out to be cautious and pessimistic for the entirety of the first half because he fears an end-to-end scramble? Nah. We could conceivably have been 2-0 down by half time but for a well executed set piece and an off-balance shot by Fletcher, which would ruin any plan AVB could come up with to turn the second half around.

Andre is a smart man: I refuse to believe he sets our team out to perform like that because he wants us to grow into the game. We are not solid enough to do that yet: even f*cking goalkeeper supreme Hugo Lloris is f*cking up regularly when in our colours. So the plan has to be domination from the first to the last if we are to have any chance of winning, and I think AVB knows this. I don't think the players do, however.

I have hope that he'll kick them up the backside and we'll get a victory here: that set-piece was vital. But it doesn't excuse the fact that we looked laboured for the first forty-odd minutes.

Do you want to rethink this at all after seeing the second half? We should have won that by at least 5 goals. We grew into the game. We made forward passes. We broke beyond the lines. We broke at pace. We were ridiculously good.

Awesome game, 2 away wins where we came back from a goal down. Real bottle and we created a load of proper chances today, should have been 5 really. All that with a depleted team as well.

Looking forward to Liverpool next week.

Happy for the three points, but still not thrilled with overall progress. One goal from a weird set piece and an own goal. Second half was much better and we should've scored more. But still hardly convincing. Hard to really feel super satisfied about the win.

That said, onward and upward!
