omt tottenham v tromso

Down there? LOL, very very limited everything. Satellite on research stations but no wifi, and to be fair, I will be absolutely rooted to the thousands of penguins I look forward to seeing, as well as the other stuff going on down there…put it this way. i won't be updating my Facebook until we're back in Punta Arenas en route home!

Sounds good, have a nice time.

We would have none of that coverage if we send Freund and the kids.
The media hates this competition and would have been right behind the decision.

Yes we would. The story would have been Spurs in crisis as AVB retreats into his shell and hides on the training pitch. Besides, he is obliged to take part in the pre and post match interviews.

The game tonight tells us nothing. Europa League games tell us nothing at this stage. The Premiership is the real test. Almost any team in the Premiership would have qualified from our Europa Group.

We were nervous and the result is the only good thing about that game. Learned nothing about any player we did not already know. Soldado used to shoot on sight now he takes a touch and blames others with more than a little justification.
4-5-1 stinks like a rotten fish to watch.

A win.

A clean sheet.

Seven consecutive Europa League wins.

Group Winners.

Sure, there are still problems unresolved, but nothing a bit of time can't fix.

Context, as Steff might say, is everything. Look at the quality of the oppo.

Sunday is the acid test.

Og come that's a bit paranoid. Are you one of those that's thinks the media is anti AVB and is out to get him?

A wins a win in the Europa League.

Personally I think Dembele has earnt a place against Man Utd and should be partnering Sandro, especially considering his two performances for us against them last year and his performance against them with Fulham at the beginning of last season too. Plus the best central midfield partnership that we have seen since August 2012 is Sandro and Dembele. I'd also have Lennon on the right and Sigurdsson on the left with Lamela behind Soldado.

It wasn't the toughest group but I do not think that it was that easy. A lot of Premier League teams struggle with playing two games a week and adjusting to playing teams with a different style of play.

Just not very good

Rebrov buy

I guarantee that if/when we change managers you'll see a different player (if it's a good manager choice of course). AVB is making it seem like getting the ball to the furthest forward player is some kind of impossible task that even the greatest football managers ever would find difficult to crack but in reality it isn't that hard...being that the striker is the THE FURTHEST FORWARD PLAYER.

Nope. I think the press will write pretty much anything, about any club, if they think it will sell papers. If a story if it has legs, they will keep running with it and AVB not turning up today would have given it another angle and a push.

100% win record so far and people want AVB out?
You are right, we've this group of high flying teams, proud moment for the club. Why Norwegian 2nd division giants - Tromso would strike fear in any EL team. Anzhi who are beating everyone easily in the race for taking last place in Russia are another potential EL winner and lets not forget any team in Moldova is Champions League material in my book...

Can you see AVB not picking the midfield two that had a rest during the week?

Broke my thumb at the 50th minute mark, incredible pain, walked into the living room to see the score and take it out on Spurs "SCORE FFS!!!! Aaaargh thumb!!!"

Jeez it really is surprisingly painful, whiskey trying to help

One of the saddest things tonight was seeing Soldado repeatedly back half-way in his own half trying desperately to pick up any scraps of action he could...
