*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Cardiff City, Sunday 22nd September***

Holtby has been on about 5 minutes and created two clear oppertunities

Made all the difference for me. Superb little cameo.. Great competition for Siggy and Eriksen.. I'd like to see Holtby and Lamela start for Sig and Townsend next game.

I love how popular Paulinho seems to be among the squad.. Seems a really likeable young man made all the better by his tireless work rate and beaming smile. We have a team of potential spurs legends, it's ****ing exciting.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES

Another clean sheet
Good team play, Good passing
And 3 deserved points!

We are going to be strong, we are a team, wait until The lamela's, Soldado's and Eriksen's really find their feet.......

Come on youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu Spurs!

Really pleasing the way we kept going right to the end. We just need to work on being sharper to the ball and crisper with our passing in the final third and we could see something a bit special emerging. At the moment, I feel we still seem too often to want too much thinking time, and then there's the thing with all the long-range banana-shots.

im not big on stats but they had ZERO shots on target and we had 12 - also 29 in total they had six

Soldado and Paulinho played well all game. Not sure where the angst comes from. The team lacks experience. They just got some - and will get stronger for it.

Benifits of having quality subs. More clinical finishing and final ball play required. Lacked a little bit of calm discipline in the final 3rd. Otherwise, very impressive performance.

I believe that was overall his best game for us.

Didnt score but looks sharper. Better movement, better on the ball. More involved in front of goal!

Exactly - great movement, good link up play and a proper threat even if he didnt score. Defoe wouldnt have suited to their deep defensive line

I wonder how many points the buzz in the dressing room now will be worth? And the bonding that will come with it? Could be a point or two, which could be the difference.

Holtby assist to the assist when it was so badly needed, and Lamela assist are brilliant for those two particular players, who'll benefit hugely from the lift.

And I don't know what Paulinho I'm watching, but I have been SHOCKED at the people saying he doesn't do much. Since the first moment of the Palace game he has been a beast. Today included - he was the fulcrum of everything good in that first half (with a h/t to Dembele who was also terrific). He's kind doing the Modric role of retaining tempo and possession and transitioning us.
