Vlad Chiriches....central defender on his way to Spurs?

Victor took Ioan Becali with him to london, Ioan will surely be the one to bribe him, maybe another phd for the doctor just to look the other way when vlad opens his mouth...

whatever happened to that chairman of yours? did he manage to get out of jail? aren't the fans concerned about who is running the club now?

We just got 40 mil Euros, Champions League + Chiriches, we have a sports manager and the coach, these two are currently the bosses. Really i don't think there is a problem with him being in jail, he used to criticize players on tv all the time, so really i don't think that him being behind bars is that bad. He does however need to sign off on any important deals at the club, but i think one phone call a day is enough, better that to see him every day at all the tv stations talking stupid things :)

LOL...cheers Iulian, made me laugh after all the Bale-drama today.

Hope to meet you guys in the CL league one day. Homecoming for Vlad - imagine that...

this Steau one is also a one-off case as it was vetoed last minute by a the chairman who was in jail.

At times this window has looked like the ****tiest, most unrealistic game of Championship Manager ever.

Chiriches talks about how he "lived" the match last night against Legia, during which he was in the stands as Steaua pulled a 2-2 which qualified the team to the Champions League group stage. "It's very hard for me to watch how my colleagues are tormenting and forcing themselves to cope with the match and I was in the stands. I even kicked the chairs, but I couldn't do anything."

Chiriches talked also about other aspects of his career, revealing that he even cried when he missed the first move to Tottenham!

Regarding the injury: "There wasn't anything psychological, my back hurts even now, I went for another check up today and I have bursitis, a thing under the muscles which is pushing on my nerves and that hurts a lot. I was told that I have to fight the pain a bit. The fact that I am going to such a big club has to motivate me."

Regarding his replacement at Steaua: "Gardos played very well yesterday, he helped the guys, he is a very good player and he has to have confidence in his qualities."

His best memory: "The best memory was when we won the championship, it was something unique that I wanted since I was a small child. My dream came true in that moment."

How he lived the failure of the first transfer: "My agents helped me a lot but it is also my merit. I had a lot of problems in this month, especially during the negotiations, the agents helped me a lot. I couldn't sleep for two days after I found out the first time that I'm not going to Tottenham, I even shed some tears."

What message does he send to his locker mates: "When I left I wished them good luck in the Champions League and in the domestic competitions to grab the double. I wouldn't want to play against Steaua in the spring, in Europe."

Liking him already. Strong ties to his club. Hopefully he'll have similar feelings for Spurs after a couple of seasons.

Could tomorrow be one of those days which message boards dream of - a triple signing!!! Certainly seems that vlad and Lamela could be announced tmrw and given we're speaking to Eriksen, then it suggests we've agreed a fee with Ajax
