Sorry but i do know what is happening with Gareth currently as of today and a load of crap being spoken. I appreciate all the other ITK's passing on info but you really have to take with a pinch(like mine) as you dont know how far they are from the source and who is telling their source. What i can guarantee (this is why i'm retiring)that they arent as close to the actual story as me. I dont mean that in a derogatory way at all its just a fact.
I personally really hope this all falls over and we get to keep Gareth however its just not the case unfortunately at this point in time.
I wont comment either on why AVB is saying something different.
Either way its going to be an exciting season for us IMHO.

Agree -as I said before, I hope the loud mouthed idiot minority of spurs fans stay away from whl at the weekend.

Bale has done nothing wrong, said nothing negative about the club in public and frankly, which non-spurs supporting player wouldn't be interested in joining Real?

We should be getting behind the guy not turning against him

He cannot burn his bridges with us, in the event Madrid do not pull it out the hat. Therefore at the moment you cannot turn. As a professional not turning up for training IMO would be a bad move by him and that fat **** agent

I honestly think Madrid do not have the money, there bank does not have the money as they used to have it. IMO they HAVE TO sell Ronaldo to Utd to finance Bale. Or sell 5 players to facilitate this deal.

None is happening this window IMO

If that was the case there would be no harm in stating that in public would there?? I am sure if Bale said in a meeting "I am happy with Spurs" the PR team would have it on the website sooner than you could say done....

If that was true Bale would have been in Monaco. They said in Hong Kong that they fully expected him to play. Now a new injury. If you think that he isn't pulling the strings to a certain extent. then.. well you know. I think your being a tad naive.

The problem Real have, is that they need Bale this season. But we absolutely cannot afford to let him go this year.

If we let Bale go, it could easily be Ronaldo to United and Suarez to Arsenal, which shunts us well and truly down the pecking order of likely title challengers with everyone knowing we have a brick load of cash and not many players to spend it on.

Therefore I just don't see how it makes any sense for us to sell him at all. If we do I'll be gutted.

I completely agree. If I had to put money on it now, though, I'd have to back it to be dragged out till deadline day and only signed off at the eleventh hour, in classic Levy style. Then on the 2nd, we'll hear about the 3 or 4 deals we tried to do in the dying hours of the window, but were unsuccessful—agent activity, goalposts moved at the last minute, always against the clock, etc.

Just once, I'd like to see us ready for the start of a season with all the pieces in place. If it did ever happen, half the squad would probably be killed in an earthquake or something an hour before kick-off.

Does anyone think there could be a public lynching of an agent if the behaviour of players continue to spiral with so much lack of respect. For example.. a group of drunk Tottenham fans on a night out.. see Jonathan Barnett in a high end restaurant in London.. what would happen? Are agents treading a fine line between respect and disrespect.

Got to say if I saw Mr Barnett in the street I'm not sure how I would react tbh.

I agree, but sometimes the red mist takes over. I can see myself being proper verbal to him and tell him what I think of him.

I know there are tossers among Tottenham fans. But I also believe that what Campbell did was much worse than what Bale is allegedly doing and nobody gave him a dig when it happened
