Joe Kinnear

JK surely has to have some dodgy photos of Ashley or have some dirt on him. There's absolutely no way that anyone would hire him as DoF without, particuarly hiring him without JK and Pardew having spoken. There has to be some other reason for this

That was my understanding too, besides if Pardew walks because of this he might have a chance of getting the full amount paid up for constructive dismissal.

Thanks. Reading some of the posts here about what JK has said about things that didn't happen made me wonder!

Agree re one of the previous posters, so glad Spurs is not in that "joke club" bracket anymore

To be fair to Kinnear on this point, this was one of the things people laughed at him for. He said Lambezee had resigned and everyone was like 'LOL, no he hasn't' but clearly he had done. Kinnear wasn't very eloquent but he had this point right.
