Seriously though, our (the mods) sources told us this was happening both earlier in the week, and again last night.
We have reason to believe it is a 3 weeker, but no guarantee. If he is back Wednesday, well, that's ITK for you.
 
Well AVB got it wrong today. I got it wrong too as I thought the team he picked would be good enough. Though I would have picked a stronger one as I want us to win a trophy more than finish 4th.

I hope this is the last time we see Brad in goal this season, or ever in fact. We need a striker and a mid, and AVB presumably has an input on this. I also think we need a LB, unless Fryers is going to start from Wednesday on, because I'm not a fan of BAE.

And I don't think there will be any daft "it's a project" consideration. Levy came to Spurs and talked about a 5 year plan. The first 5 years saw about 5 different managers.

AVB is one game away from the sack, didn't you know? Been doing a terrible job. We're out of a competition we haven't won since 1991 so he MUST be in a bit of trouble :lol:

We confirmed Fryers on January third, making sure to state in the club statement that he was joining up with the development squad, since then he's not been in any first team squad.

All of a sudden he's going to start ahead of Ekotto who is just returning from injury? :ross:
 
I feel sorry for AVB.

Last January a lot of people came on here saying how Levy will fully back the new Manager and the reason for our lack of signings last season was that Levy didnt trust Harry.

It is fudgein EVIDENT that we need one if not two quality players to bolster our squad as well as give us that extra forward momentum. Blah blah blah - we havent identified a player yet etc etc etc fudgein bull brick. If we havent identified anyone then the scouting network deserve firing.

I dont really care about the loss today but what im concerned about is if the lack of signings affect our extra push towards qualifying for CL. Im a believer of learning lessons and it appears (with four days to go) that we havent.

I just heard AVB's post match interview and i actually believe him when he says we're not bringing a striker in. He actually elaborated on why this is the case...

What did he say?

To be honest I don't think he wants another striker, because I think he wants the personnel to play a different style and system. What we're playing right now is a stop gap until he can get the players he needs.
