1882 Movement

Re: 1882

Also, re: the podcast - we had Micky Hazard on it last week. What a legend. They don't make footballers like him any more.

1882

Dont know if this has been mentioned anywhere in one of the 'mega-threads' but the 1882 lot have got a block for the Maribor home game if anyone fancies a sing-song. I went to the NextGen game & it was an excellent!!

Tickets are avaliable through the club website or ticket line in Block J of the East Stand upper. As it stands (we’ve been promoting it through twitter since Monday) there is about 100 tickets left. If it happens to sell out you can buy in block H as well. Tickets are £20 + ‘booking fee’.

Agreed. Im all in favour as long as they dont start turning up in fancy dress or turn into the Palace Ultras etc.

Even though i was a good 20yrs older than anyone else there i was with the 1882 for the Barca NextGen game (with PLJ) & i had a great time.

It's great - I think it seemed to have polarised a few people at the Maribor game as we were almost like away fans in our own ground! But it's not about that, we're just trying to put it forward to the club that we need to bring back the atmosphere at the Lane (and all other English grounds, as well).

I missed out on the Panathanaikos game as I couldn't afford it, but I'd genuienly rather go to one of these games than see Arsenal or Chelsea play against us. There's less moaners, more people up for a laugh and it's far more relaxed.

Totally agree.

Whenever they arrange to go to a game it really does make a difference even hearing it on tely, think it is fantastic

saw on spooky's blog that they're planning/expecting to do the coventry cup game. I'm definitely getting tickets for that.

Went Panathanikos last night and had my tickets booked before the 1882 announcement so missed out.

Same thing happened for me with Maribor - not making that mistake twice!

I need TP for my bunghole.
