With all that talent on the pitch if we don't actually start well and take the game to them it'll be a fudging tinkle take.

I really want us to do well in Europa league but we shouldn't need Lennon and Bale and Verts on the pitch, should be able to do it without them and get them rested for Sunday

No, that's not a bad side, but I'd rather have seen Falque or Siggy in there as a #10 instead of SnS.

It was Harry's mistake because Defoe and Ade meant dropping one of our best players, or wasting him out wide. AVB playing Defoe and Ade means dropping mr invisible 1 or mr invisible 2.

Thats precisely it. Im not gonna enter into another debate about how Sig or Dempsey have to be played with Ade but like you say invisible 1/invisible 2 or two players who will score goals (one is already scoring them)

Really hope the players are up for this game, as we the fans need to see some passion from them, and AVB could do with a break from the haters!

Big night for Ade and defoe, more so for JD as he needs to show he can work with Ade up top cos if Ade's fit then surely now AVB will be unleashing him in the EPL.

Also a big night for our CMs. Hudd needs to step up and show he can dictate a game from start to finish and provide that creative spark. Lil Carroll probably doesn't have as much pressure as Hudd to perform but we need to see he has progressed from last years Europa efforts- with the right development this kid could be great.

Really hope the fans are patient, Maribor is no gimme we need to be at our best.
