Just watching the qpr reading game and makes you wonder, if we had kept hold of Adel would he have given us that much needed creativity and flair we lack. Sure I remember how frustrating he was, but surely a better option then playing Dempsey who doesn't get involved.
I guess I feel he is a typical spurs player unlike Dempsey, you can check the typical spurs requirements:

Attitude
Flair
Abundance of skill
Inconsistent
Frustrating
Maverick
Never quite there

All requirements for your typical spurs flair players.
 
I've been thinking more about Kranjcar. Why sell him with Modric and VDV? I guess people will say he isn't an AVB player. It seems an AVB player is the opposite of a traditional Tottenham player.
 
Ah don't get me started on krankjar lol, he would thrive behind ade in this team. Reason I mentioned Adel was with the distinct possibility qpr goes down he would be available cheap.
 
haven't had a taarabt thread for a while.. he really is a fairly brick and limited player and i for one never, ever want to see him near spurs again.

This. Anyone watching the QPR-Reading game will have seen him shoot from 25-30 yards whenever he has had the chance when there have been far far better options available.

Not what we need in any way, shape or form.
 
Limited? He's a lot of things but limited is not one of them, his ability is unlimited if anything.

We'd be top of the league.
 
I think we got a great deal for £1 million for that arrogant, moody piece of brick. If we kept him and actually played him we'd be in serious trouble right now, though he may be better than Sigurdsson.

There is zero chance of him coming back to Spurs after the way he was treated
 
Heh I'm not saying he is an ideal player, hell I would much rather have a hazard, Oscar, etc etc in that position, but comparing to what we have now which is 9/10 Dempsey he would add a lot more to the team. Everything in this game is going through him, some excellent passes etc he is not as bad as he was. Sig needs a run of games in that position which is why I say Dempsey and not him

Selling him had nothing to do with AVB. Harry made it clear he was not valued so the player wanted out

Moutinho is an AVB type player, dude.

Are we not due a % of the sell on fee? If so, we don't want him going anywhere cheaply.

If I recall correctly, Spurs placed a £4.5m price on Taarabt but at the time, QPR could only afford to pay us £1m.

The remainder may well be payable to us if QPR sell him on for a profit of more than £3.5m
 
show pony in a brick team, an attitude well above his ability/application. At QPR in the Championship he had the team built around him with no instructions to defend. He isn't good enough to do that in the premier league and teams can't (or shouldn't!) accommodate that kind of player.

Watch full matches, not just highlights. He only becomes interested when the ball is at his feet. QPR have no wins in 10 games.
