No, if you look back I've written often about the media ignoring to issue, we as fans have every right to be annoyed, being tribal about this issue makes fans look as those they are only interested in how it may have effected their club, it's a much bigger issue.
Writing on fan forums will achieve nothing and in a lot of cases looks like jealousy.
How long has the mismanagement of VAR is this league been a major topic? Has anything been done to address it apart from changing rules and interruption of them which has lead to more controversy.
What fans think is irrelevant to all the major players in football FA, PL and Media, their prime aim is to protect their interests. After years of praising City's achievements the media are loathed to admit to what many suspected and PL look foolish in allowing it to happen, FA should have taken a more proactive stance as they are responsible for the game in this country, they all wish this would go away and be forgotten.
All that matters in football is winning it doesn't matter how or what you have to do to achieve it. Those responsible for the game don't care they're just getting richer.

The PL, FA and media can think what they like, cheating is cheating, and I know what cheating is and it will never be right. If they do nothing that's on them. Nothing is too big to fail, and the PL are going the right way about it to make it fail.
If fans don't act then the establishment will hold their noses and carry on.
Until sponsors start to take notice nothing will change and the only way sponsors will take notice is when fans act.

I'd rather get beaten and have my integrity than cheat to win. Winning isn't everything for everyone.

I find it odd that Micah can’t step out of his own sadness at this situation and understand how it makes the wider football community feel. Absolutely brutal from Kate, but I think we need to be able to joke about this.

Micah may feel that his medals mean something to him and I get that. I get that it would be sad to have the achievement questioned. But is it not also sad for the many players who competed with him for those medals, that their clubs didn’t decide to skirt the rules they all agreed to in order to give themselves a better shot of winning?

I find the sadness of the City voices in the media to be extremely self indulgent. The reaching for excuses. The criticism of the rules they all signed up for. The begging for sympathy. There is no reason why they deserve more sympathy than the players that didn’t get to win something because of what City did. And their anger should be at the owners who decided to put these achievements into question, not at the fact that it is a topic of discussion at all.

So much of who ends up winning trophies is circumstantial. That’s every chance that we would have a league title or two if we weren’t facing teams that had no Europe to contend with when we got closer. Not to mention dealing with a club that has been found guilty of breaking the rules that shut us out of more seasons of CL revenue, which could have led to better players, keeping our key men longer and more squad depth. Everyone can be sad. Ultimately their owners screwed them.

I see no difference between the owners of City and the fans who are backing them. There are some City fans who want their club back. Those apparently seem to be in the minority. The credibility of the PL is at stake - my concern is the political, social, and economic power being bought to bear on people who love influence and money and the illusion they bring. When one dies, one leaves with nothing from this world and even if it could be carried over, it wouldnt be the currency in the next life.

It's not just the City fans, there is no morality in football, it's just about winning whatever way you can. Most fans don't care who runs the club or how the team play as long as they are winning.
Yep. City is just taking it to the extreme, but top football is and has for decades been about winning at all costs.

The bigger culprits are the footballing authorities who have turned the blind eye to cheating in all forms for years, making teams and players bend the rules further and further. In a sense this is just the end game (although I'm sure we'll see more innovation on the cheating front too).
