The fact that it has drawn very little comment from either side of the political divide in N Ireland shows that most people now see what he says as little more than the ramblings of poor Uncle Donald who should be placed - for his own safety, and the safety of others - in Doonbeg Home for The Perpetually Bewildered.

He'll have changed his mind by tomorrow teatime anyhow.

And one of the thing he has not been able to do is sack the fed chairman even though he has been desperate to for 18 months. So that’s not changing. The US President doesn’t actually have much control over US monetary policy.
