People on X predictably going mental over this, "we fudged up again!!1" - if we got this over the line it would've been the icing on the cake. Anything beyond what we already have is purely icing on the cake. Unless the icing is Tosin and we're chucking the spoon that is Danso in the bin.

He has a very poor goal and assist ratio for a winger. I assume @Gutter Boy rates him highly as he seems to big up the players with brick stats.

If you’re happy with the events that have unfolded over the past few days, with the start to our season, with being mugged off for another transfer and then lining up a reject as a fall back option then fair enough. I can’t understand how anyone would be. But each to their own.

I've just seen him play a lot (in his United days). He's about the most joyful player i've watched since Ginola. A beautiful dribbler and great passer. He's probably my favourite EPL player. Not getting him will be a big loss, he would have taken us to a different level
