Berba scored 23 goals in each of his seasons with us, UEFA/Europa being part of that. I think 15 in the prem is a decent return, remember, he was part of a tandem. Honestly, he is twice the player Woltemade will ever be...Berba was exquisite.

They are. I honestly don’t know - but reckon we’d be better off trying for an up and coming player in the other leagues. Bournemouth and Brighton seem to find them.

I loved Berba too, it was more to say that Berba wasn't exactly a 20 goal a PL season guy but his overall game made up for it with his playmaking quality and like you say he was excellent at servicing a partner as well.
Not saying Woltmede is as good or even has the potential to be as good, but he seems more in the Berba mould rather than say a Haaland. As people have mentioned he's played a fair bit as an AM for them last season. I do like him but he does feel a little expensive and possibly won't get enough goals but his overall game is very appealing to me.

Resurrecting this as reports he’s unhappy and may want to leave (Saudi Sportswashing Machine already want him to leave for the funds) If he’s available at a lower price then I’d be all over this…this his finishing is top notch. At Saudi Sportswashing Machine he’s hardly up front as a traditional 9, whereas for us he would only have two jobs: hold the ball up and put it in the net.

I looked into the stats before and think he only started 18 games as a striker, only playing the full 90 mins 3 times. They then moved him to number 10 position.
Think he def needs a team playing to his strengths. Could that be us? Maybe.
