Strong pre season?

We played a bunch of back up players against a bunch of nobodies in a bunch of kick abouts.

It wasnt really a strong preseason. About 8 of our best players, plus Marmoush, Savinho etc havent even been involved yet. Most of preseason was 45min here and there for a few old boys and some youngsters. We are so under cooked

Yeah this is why I was saying not just based on today. Today he’s struggled in the most part because the ball has spent more time on Tels side. He is absolutely also suffering from what is behind him, I just think with Mikey he’s better off just going out on that loan, playing regularly and getting used to the level.

I think Tel has grown as a player and is continuing to, I just think Mikey is clearly not quite there yet, but absolutely could be one day.
 
You do have to say it was a mistake from De Zerbi to stay Bergvall I stead of one of Fernandes or Bentancur.

I know most people think I'm overly harsh on Bergvall but I ho early don't see it with him. His best aspect is he ball carrying but he loses it constantly when trying that, he doesn't seem to have any defensive awareness and his passing is pish. He's not balanced midfielder at all.
