Richarlison

Unfortunately, he was noticeably more involved and better than Solanke's stint in 1st half (with better team around him)
Beat me to it.

If he was awful, Solanke was erm.... super awful.

Richi actually moves and gets into position to miss chances

Solanke was statue and again spent most the game hiding behind defenders

Solanke had an early chance, then vanished.

richy can't help falling down and trying to get the foul, falling more times than all the youth players when challenged physically. so hard to watch

I'm sure we'll sell if anyone is interested. He does score goals though, so worth keeping around if he's content playing from the bench, given that we hopefully get another striker in (as well as a fit Solanke).

Fine with him sticking around seeing as best case we get £10M for him but that needs to be behind Solanke and another genuine #9.

I thought de Zerbi wanted players who want to stay and fight for the club.

This non committal remarks doesn't sound inspiring at all. Richarlison is obviously waiting to see who comes in as de Zerbi has mentioned.

I think that was his polite way of saying he's not bothered if they stay or go. He'll use them if they stay but they aren't priority players for him and he won't guarantee them any minutes.

Firstly, I think Richi will fight for any club he plays for. There will be no reduction in effort or focus. That doesn't mean he can be happy though because he's clearly not getting a new contract offer. It would have happened around the same time as Davies got his.

I think that will be the determining factor why he will leave this summer. There is a dearth of strikers around and there will be clubs that can turn his head. If we somehow get to Sep 1st and he's still ours then we can guarantee total commitment from him.

I think Dom will take share duties with a new striker. Richi will know this and get himself a move.
