I liked the 48 team format and seeing a few of the smaller nations get involved - no one really disgraced themselves.

Even Scotland got a win

Looking at the World Cup in isolation I wouldn’t disagree with that, the problem is the length when taking the domestic seasons into account, it was 5 and a half weeks, 32 teams are usually around 4 weeks, go up to 64 and your adding another 7-10 days on top again, the players who reached the last weekend if it was a 32 team tournament would have likely be returning to training next week.

He doesn’t seem to have sight of what’s going on in and around him … he needs to adjust his … Tel-e-Vision to get on the right frequency with the other players. Not working the channels right. However I know people are polar about him, I don’t think it’s a contrasting issue as it is black and white.
