World Cup 2026: Mexico, USA and Canada

Martinez not booked for going into the crowd looks massively off to me. Not that I like that rule BTW, but its there, so enforce it
Enforcing rules? Not something we've seen a lot of lately. Like Saka kicking the ball away when Norway got a throw in, then went back and kicked away the reserve ball too. Ball hitting a camera wire and it leads to a goal. Players getting sent off for competing in a duel. Not a lot of correct enforcing of rules going on. Only those that fit the narrative Fifa wants are enforced.

I agree, there is no consistency

If there at least was some consistency. If Haaland doing a Kolo Muani on Gabriel in the box results in a foul, then why doesn’t this?

I’ve just watched that and I still don’t think I’ve seen it!
Look at this then. Anderson also running towards his own goal, then ball hits the wire, and Anderson changes direction and goes forward again to meet the changed direction of the ball. He's initially positioning himself for a header, but then has to move the other way, and the ball lands at his feet. Unless gravity suddenly increased by 10 times, that's not how a ball travels through the air.

Thank you, that’s much more convincing

The ball hit the wire
Did that benefit either side?
in most sports it would be called a sporting incident but weirdly in football it’s not
Well, England scored seconds later, when it was supposed to be a dropped ball, so it's pretty clear who benefitted. Very odd that it didn't register, though.

Yes odd that snicko didn't pick it up if there was contact, also, the most common view replayed for this incident is from the spider cam itself, surely a ball smacking into one of its cables would have caused some camera wobble, which there is also no evidence of.

mmmmm.. what have they been saying on the glory glory trotskiest forum? probably not much..
anyway best thing that has happened to England was jorden henderson breaking his arm..nothing against him personally but
for me never was an England player..but maybe just a strong midfield player with not a lot of skill.
s
Anyway we have a chance now....to be honest we could win it! but i never did understand touchels selection of players but hes doing OK and he knows who to bring on as subs so far! Come on England..booooo bloody colonialist...this country never did anything for anyone did it...
