I believe Lankshear has already been told he will be in the first team squad this season
Eh? Where have you seen/read that?

On here in the Lankshear thread page 25.Eh? Where have you seen/read that?
Nope. I think he is at an age where playing men’s football and developing further is really important. Last season for example he improved his work off the ball and link up play.Would you keep Lankshear for the PL squad this coming season? And what are your thoughts on us trying to get Kroupi?
I think Kroupi and Solanke playing for a season together could be devastating with the team we’re building, if we get Savinho or similar to complement what’s already in place.Nope. A top half championship team would be a good level for Lankshear next season IMO.
I like Kroupi and think he has incredible potential, but I don’t think he would play as our number 9. I think he is instead a second striker that would need to be partnered with Solanke or somebody similar.
Personally, I think Nusa has a higher ceiling than Savinho, though there is no guarantee that he fulfills that potential. What he has is lovely balance, ball control and the ability to play the game, at pace, with his head up.
Said El Malia would be my number 1 pick for a new left winger if we're prepared to take a gamble on whether a player can adapt to PL football. Gakpo would be my number 2 pick as I think we need goals from the wings and Gakpo delivers goals.

There’s something amusing about us having the Dutch national CB pairing and also a Bournemouth CF pairing
And replace Solanke with Kane in 27/28…..
Kroupi replaced Solanke at Bournemouth - they were never at the club at the same time (6 months apart in fact)I think Kroupi and Solanke playing for a season together could be devastating with the team we’re building, if we get Savinho or similar to complement what’s already in place.

I know. But having two ex-Bournemouth players as a formidable striking partnership is something which I think is not only possible but would be more evidence of our club being one to move to and showcase talentKroupi replaced Solanke at Bournemouth - they were never at the club at the same time (6 months apart in fact)

I dont get this optimism about Solanke. He is a championship striker who had one season where he got 19 goals. He is never going to be prolific. His shooting, heading and positioning are all suspect.I think Kroupi and Solanke playing for a season together could be devastating with the team we’re building, if we get Savinho or similar to complement what’s already in place.

We cant rely on him to get goals even when fit.
Forget Kroupi too and go all in for
Thiago at Brentford.
Or get in Harrys ear and buy him now. 300k a week on a 2 year deal. 50 mill fee. Bayern would take that .And replace Solanke with Kane in 27/28…..
