OMT - Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur

Bent officials for the win yet again.

That’s not to say that we weren’t terrible: we undeniably were terrible.

Gallagher, Dragusin were really really really bad.

Solanke: was so bad that it’s a worry. He offered nothing anywhere on the pitch.

Bissouma: crap.

Simons tried but failed. Completely.

Muani: I think he tried hard but delivered nothing of note.

Souza looked decent when he came on. Given how wasted Gray was at LB, Souza must start the next game.

Tel offered something. Richy too.

Danso is miles better than Dragusin.

Palninha was very poor I thought.

I lost count of the times that a ball was cleared and they ‘won’ the second ball without actually having to win anything. That’s unforgivable.

Danso
Souza
Gray in CM
Tel
Richy

Have to play every minute possible now. That's our core

I would have gone for Redknapp with Sherwood and a couple of others but he's here for the remainder.
Saw some good pressure at times but once the goal went in some pressed and some didn't and there were huge spaces again to play through. Need to instil a pattern of play fast!
Neither have managed for almost 10 years though and Sherwood was dogbrick at Villa while Redknapp was fired by Birmingham.

It did my head in, I was convinced they had more players on the pitch.

Any positives to take from this game? We look like we have a certain way to play? He has only had them 2 weeks, any difference?

More of the same really. Poor players, running on fumes, lop sided formation, predictable attacking play and absolutely woeful defending. No quality on the ball, no fight in key situations, looking for the easy option too often. Subs improved matters. But too little too late.

Yeah
A blind man can see how poorly some players suit the set up he tried to play today
So he now can see that
Will he react… not sure

I know there are not a lot of options but we need someone who can organize a team in a relegation fight. It's not the losses that bother me per se but the manner of them. We are all over the place in defence, attack and non existent in midfield. I would even take Sean Dyche at this moment just to get us out of this. Yes I know he didn't fare well at Forest but he might be able to get us being tight at the back enough so we can nick some key wins.

Edit: I don't think it is such a big call to be fair. Given that Tudor was a desperate gamble in the first place
Jeez that’s after 2 games? Tudor may well prove to be a big mistake and he’s a huge gamble, but he’s come into a pretty dire situation - entirely due to the board not acting at least 2 months earlier. It’s hard to know who would’ve been a better choice but it does scare me that he has no previous experience in this league.

I thought the fight and energy was there for the most part. We just came up against a better drilled side with a clear plan of how they were going to play.
I said they had more fight. I didn't say we had none. They outfought us and their players had better technique, better touch and better passing technique all over the pitch. Was a complete clown show at the back once again.

Fulham have better players than we had and more fight too. Not really much else to say. We are in big trouble.

And yet our glorious Transfer Committee have the 4th highest nett spend in European football since we moved into our money-spinning new stadium 💸

I'd get Dyche in.

Get him drilling the defence

5/6 draws will prob be enough.

I think I will put the same effort on Thursday night as the players did today so I'm not going to bother go
Them and the club can fudge off
Mugging us off both on and off the pitch constantly
