It's been an incredible first half if your interest in Spurs is limited to wanting to slag off Richy. It's been a really rough time for these poor souls over the last 10 games or so, I'm glad they can revert back to type at the first opportunity.

Bad start by us, but I think we've been better and better as the half went on. The suicidal playing out from our own box is slowly starting to do my head in. I know we're supposed to draw the other team out, but sometimes we seem to dwell on the ball for too long and make life difficult for ourselves instead of playing the ball to an available team mate.
Bentancur is sluggish, I'd put Bissouma on for him at half time. Hope we get Son on for Werner at some point soon as well.

Incredibly frustrating first half. Just not good enough in any aspect. We've created some chances by pressing well, but finishing has been so sloppy, and when Brighton get through our press we are so fudging wide open. Add to that sloppiness on the ball from the three midfielders and looking dodgy at the back it's hard to see how we win this. Need a Brentford-like start to the second half.

We weren't ready for their intensity and marking for the first 20 mins. Then things opened up more and we dominated. Really should have scored at least 1. Richarlison is a little obvious and slow.
They have marked Bentancur out the game, but he needs to keep moving, drag them around. When he's marked he gives up and stops moving. Jog around the pitch and create spaces.
