He was great when he burst on to the scene ... but every man and his dog could see there was something lacking after a sensational few seasons.
Tried his best, just a shame he hasn't been good enough for the majority of his time here (ever since he thought he should be a CB). The blame goes to those who kept picking him and extending his contract of course.

Good luck to him. His transition to being a central defender didn’t seem to work like anyone really wanted. But aside from laughing at us not having won trophies, he tried hard so fair play. Means we’re likely signing two new defenders too which is good.
It doesn't mean we are signing two defenders from what I can see. We have Romero, VDV, new CB, Phillips, and both Davies and Royale have shown they can at least be competent at CB whilst primarily being full back cover...
