Very lucky to not be 4-0 down but we're not and with the way Brighton play there's still very much a chance. Richarlison and PEH been two reasonable players in a terrible team performance.

Need more from Son, Kulu and Johnson. Porro and Sarr not working at all like they usually do down the right. Udogie looking off it. Massive improvement required or this could be the first of those heavy defeats I feared in Ange's first season.

Brighton's playing out from the back has been pretty brick too, they've turned it over plenty of times, we just haven't punished it at all.

I would take out Sarr and put Lo Celso next to Kulusevski at AMC. It would give us more people that are able to give a pass and hold the ball up front. Nothing to lose at this point.

Is there a competition within our squad for the "Dumbest way to get suspended" award? Kulu's 5 second long shirt pull to rack up 5 bookings rivals Yves' 2nd yellow for diving. It was Wellbeck, just let him miss it ffs..

It's absolutely a good intervention from VAR, presumably loads of bodies blocking his view but that shouldn't stop that incident being a pen. Crazy how long the review took.

Also the situation with Udogie having two players by himself to deal with for the goal needs to be investigated, that's not about missing personnel, it's just dog brick defending.

As for Johnson choosing to cut back to let the defender get goalside instead of giving Son or Richy a tap in, that was criminal.

It's a miracle we're only 2 down, slightly worrying performance.

I think Johnson‘s was just a poor touch that took it backwards rather than anything deliberate.
