With Son and Maddison playing through knocks, you get the impression they may have been on the bench the last couple of games had we had alternatives (although being v Goons and Pool maybe not?)

Lo Celso / Gill and Perisic / Johnson is putting a bit of a squeeze on the squad as they’re covering similar positions. So match day attacking options look a little threadbare right now.

Seems like Gill and Johnson are not far off though, but who knows with GLC?!
 
I'd add Bissouma to the injury watch list. That tackle from Jones must have hurt.

I think glc will be returning first from his hamstring injury. Not sure how long to be match fit though he looked ready in pre season.

Hopefully Brennan just needs rest and ready soon.

I am more concerned at CB. Seeing how much difference when we had Romero without VdV jast season. Maybe that new CB is good enough? Don't know anything about him. But can't see Dier doing well with angeball

Hopefully an all round better bill of health after the upcoming international break.

With us pulling out anyone, (eg Madders sonny) with the slightest fitness doubt, from going anywhere.

Sancho is an excellent player in the right setup imo. Think he would be good for us, though not a perfect fit. Some reports of issues with attitude at Dortmund too, a slight concern. Wouldn't be against signing him on a loan with an option to buy. But others, that probably would be more expensive (or not available on a loan) that would be higher up my list.

Sliding doors, but I wonder what would have happened if we'd got him in 2017 as originally planned (as part of the Kyle Walker transfer) and he'd come through into the peak Poch team (probably instead of us buying Moura 6 months later)
