People are sent to prison for crimes they didn't commit. For those people crime isn't crime. People are charged with crimes which get thrown out by courts or found not guilty. I bet those people wouldn't agree with you.

Putin is seen as some sort of war Lord .... yet Bush and Blair roam free with their hand in an illegal war in Iraq... they have fudged that part of the world properly due "WMD" ... I wonder how the British are portrayed around the world?

And for people to pretend that Blair and Bush have walked off with reputations in tact or the British Empire issue is not debated weekly is disingenuous. The over arching point in my eyes is that when Levy is classed as a cnut or a parasite for not paying an extra 50k a week for Mane I find it hard to swallow people advocating people to run the club who have done much worse in real world issues. We can conflate that to arguments about national interest to hide that fact but the reality is people will always sell their soul for a few pots and try and use reasons to justify it to themselves. And to clarify, if Bush, Blair, Bojo or the Royal family wanted to run Spurs I wouldn't want them either for the reasons you mention. Its not about moral compasses or virtue signalling or any other quips to shut people down, its about being able to identify who the real cnuts in the world are.

Ireland, India and Palestinian in the last hundred years have been buggered by us, a lot of the current problems stem from what we did. Though I in no way take any responsibility for it as the far left would like.

I do agree the Brits have a bad history.
 
I fully understand that the British ruling classes did terrible things in the past but object to being categorised within that, is it any different from saying all Africans are lazy, Irish are drunks, Italians are cowards, Jews are money grabbers, Americans are stupid, Russians are evil?

What? How please explain how Palestine have benefitted and exploited Britain? Please explain how India had over 35% of the world's gdp before the British turned up and then benefitted from the industrial revolution where the indians for generations were slaughtered for making textiles in mass production, how the aboriginal people of Australia have benefitted ... or even the native apaches or comanche benefited or exploited the British ... no just no.
