***OMT: Mighty Spurs vs Manure***

I totally disagree, never in rigbt place, passes to players under pressure and not tracking runners.
And as for pointing, id break that fudging finger off and shove it up hus brick hole until he squeaked.
I totally disagree with you. Won a lot of the ball and ensured that we dominated the game. We got into lots of good positions today but played the wrong ball, Son was terrible, half of our moves broke down due to his poor touches.

Man Uniited had very few chances. Goal 2, schoolboy defending from Regi. Goal 3 schoolboy defending from Romero. I see nothing in that loss that can be blamed on PEH. He gave us a platform to win that game that the attacking players didn’t take.

Hmm, I could've sworn we got two goals, must have made a mistake...

Penalty from a handball and an OG.

Ronaldo scored his second from a glorious chance 5 yards out, and his third from an unmarked, clear header.

You want cutting teams open? That's being cut open. Not what we did cycling it out to the dozy Doherty or the hapless Reguilon, or to Son who then slips and loses it and moans.

He should have helped more on the first goal IMO but it was a great strike

We were nowhere near as bad as some are making out here.
Always chasing the game was absolutely key, if we score first we win today.
Kane was poor partly because Matic closed off those pockets he normally drops into.
Son, somebody get him some new boots, wtf was the slipping on his arse constantly all about.
Anyone else notice Romero screaming into Maguire's face after our 2nd? The brickhousery is definitely an Argentine speciality.
I'm disappointed with the result but lads, it's Tottenham.

Reggie is average at everything IMO
I say that as someone who likes him
He rarely if ever hits anything first time which hurts some momentum and he also makes odd defensive calls

I was trying not to be too negative. But he doesn't deliver enough. I like him too, but we need that 10% more from him in attack. A bit more cool, focus and being clinical. He does have his moments, the problem is they rarely turn into anything.

United had the better chances today no doubt. Ronaldo could have actually had 5 on another day. We really couldn't cope with him. Yet despite United habibg the lionshare of the better chances they only had a few in total.

Strange match we were 90% of the way to being the better except in the critical areas of either penalty box.

And then laughing with ralf at the end?

Did he? Well, whatever, I don't really care. At the end of the day, his miserable recent performances are a) down to him, and b) hurt him more than us, because we can always find a winger to replace him at this point who would offer more than Son currently does.

On this form, doubt Son would find a club better than us. So either he improves, or we bench him, hopefully.

Ronaldo scored his second because Reguillon couldn't play offside and third from terrible defending at a corner. Neither were cutting teams open, they were poor defending.

We would had the chances imo but didn’t even pull the the trigger when in quick enough

Bergwijn needs to come in for Son now, why bother having a squad if he doesn’t? Terrible for SB’s mentality if he doesn’t get a start.

They did cut us open on a couple of occasions; the 2nd goal and toe poke chance from Cron. You could also argue a couple of their quick counters cut us open also. We didn't really have that in our play. The one time it came together was for the disallowed Davies goal.

I think he's been poor recently, although not as bad today as some are saying, but I was surprised to see the stats they flashed up on SKY. 7 goals and 4 assists in 12 games or something like that. If that's him being brick, we can't afford to drop him.

Alao, now that CL is gone, I would suggest throwing the remaining games bar Arsenal. Finish out of the top eight, to avoid European footie altogether.

Get the new coach, whomever it is, time to work with his players next season free from Conference League or Europa League footie.

Pens and OGs don't count?
We lost to one bloke.
We played well, good reactions twice to going behind. Encouraging performance at OT.
Not for me , we were sloppy in possession created very little against an awful United side. Periods of the first half were good . Second was awful.
Subs from Conte were poor as well . How Kulu goes before Son is poor

Eh. Put Bergwijn in for about 12 games without subbing him and make the comparison. I'd wager he would do better.

Son is just awful right now, and I have no idea why. Long COVID, maybe.
