Sergio Reguilón

Hopefully he's in good enough state to play on Wed. Always difficult to know how quickly people recover from this though

We have spent a lot of money on crap players.

I saw someone highlight this by showing our RB signings since Walker

Walker was replaced by Trippier, which was a step down and who was then replaced by Aurier, step down...
Who was replaced by Doherty, step down...
Who was eplaced by Royal, step down.

And somewhere in amongst that we let KWP go, who is arguably better than the last 3 players we signed for that position.

4 signings for one position over as many years, each progressively worse than the last

Multiply that by every position in the team that we have tried to improve since the summer we signed Son and Wanyama and you get the pitcure.

Hope we see more Bentancur & Kulusevski's from Paratichi than we do Golini & Royals - then we might be able to put the last few years behind us.

He hasn't been at his best recently but he has a goal and assist in his last 2 games.

The boy has talent. Not excusing him completely but a couple of times on Saturday, he had a chance to cross and Davies bombed forward and prevented him delivering an early ball by getting in his way. I'd give him time and games - he's better than Sessegnon and he's just over Covid.

If for every 4 players we didn't, two are good I will be happy.

It is not an exact science but I do not want us signing players from big clubs unless they are youngsters(City youth team etc) the two lads from PSG, Royal from Barcelona and Reguilon from Madrid have been cack.

I have a slight bias to UK players I know but honestly think they are a better investment as an investment company you would think ENIC would spot that.

Do we even have reviews into why players fail and why some succeed?

I do quite well on sports betting and that is all down to probability of outcome based on past form and opportunities, injuries, level of competition etc. Wish Levy would figure this out.
