Giovani Lo Celso

Injured in the warm down vs West Ham
It’s fudging unreal…. im a massive fan and I’ve defended this guy but that’s unreal
I remember Lamela never got injured playing for us, only in training. But at least when he was remotely fit he wanted to play
What kind of mentality does a player like Lo Celso have I wonder….

Starting to seem like he's the Argentine Sturridge

He certainly hasn't got all the tools. And not just between the ears. He is more one-footed than Lamela. And that is saying something!
He really isn’t more one footed than Lamela
I’ve actually seen him pass with his right foot
And he does have the tools. The guy has shown it before but he clearly doesn’t wanna be here

I’m not sure what those tools are…. No pace, no physicality, no great positional sense, not particularly skilful, VERY one footed and not particularly creative. The only problem in selling him is that we may find it difficult finding a team willing to pay much of a fee and meet his wages. Maybe in a slower paced league like Spain his one footedness will be less detrimental and one of the 4th to 8th type teams might be able to make the finances work to sign him.

Why? One of them plays for us often and has put in a number of very good performances, the other has shown almost nothing in a Spurs shirt and that’s before considering his awful injury record,

I think we have seen peak peh, don't think we have seen the best of glc.

Strange because the one pace got him up the pitch no problems for us and he hasn’t had an issue with his physicality either (giving as good as he has got)
But we can’t rely on a player who cannot or chooses not to stay fit for us
I know you don’t rate him and he could be world class for us and you wouldn’t change your views wouldn’t change much. But I will agree we need rid now and I think we will have suitors but it may be a loan to buy like how we got him and also how Betis got from form PSG

Good player, only shown glimpses for us, but the way he’s quite clearly prioritized the Argies over us is looking like the final nail in his coffin. You can get away with that if you still even make yourself available for your club, let alone play well, but when you’ve played more games for your national side than your club side this season then somethings wrong!

100%
It’s the wrong priority for him and it has made him a player we don’t need now
As I’ve said before it’s a shame as the guys got the ability but not if he can’t or won’t show it here.

I agree but em we can use PEH in a different role IMO to get more from him, unlike Lo Celso who clearly doenst want to play for us

There certainly seems to be an issue with glc.
We know what peh can do, and tbh i don't think it is good enough for where we want to be, so sell him now while stock is still fairly high.
Glc has more to give than we have seen, if we can find it give a go, if not move him on.
Wouldn't be a great loss to shift both on, or to difficult to upgrade imho.

It Is strange that glc suddenly seemingly doesn't want to play for us - given he was supposedly instrumental in convincing Romero to sign for us Funny old game.

Hahahaha. That’s actually funny

Oh well, he can be injured or on international duty for Betis then.
Yeah. Not like we would miss him. I've been joking about him probably injuring himself while lacing his boots up for his first training session after injury, and then he goes and tops that by getting injured during warm down after a game where he didn't even feature!
That's both hilarious and ridiculous. Guy is a sicknote, and far from being a regular, even the few moments he's fit.

He's been hiding those tools well, cause most have never seen them. He's had numerous chances, and never delivered anything but disappointment.

At his current rate he will end up with a record kinda on par with Lamela… just one liked to do the desk arts and the other likes to play his country not his club
Both peg legged players who can’t stay fit enough to play
