Nuno hasn't been here long enough for any of this to be his fault.

There is a cancer in the squad, it has to be someone (not necessarily just one person mind) who has been here since the turn in 2018, until they are gone it doesn't matter who the manager is or what they try to do, we are being sabotaged from within.

There is no point in sacking him. The problem at our club sits a couple of levels higher up than the manager. We saw how laughable our manager search was for a few months before we appointed Nuno, going through that again would do us no favours…. Especially as we’d likely only appoint another cheap option.
 
Who do we have next and realistically how many losses out of the next 6 games would make his job in jeopardy out of interest?

Exactly. That some think there’s nothing wrong with these performances and that they can’t be improved on with this current set of players is baffling!

There is something very wrong with these performances, but we've seen them consistently since 2018, Nuno has been here 3 months.

The long term players are the problem, hopefully not all of them, I still have faith in Son and Dier for example, but there is enough of a negative influence and refusal to follow instructions (both Poch and Jose commented on this) that we are screwed whatever else is going on.

Let me put it this way, would you take our squad or Brentfords, Brighton’s, etc.? Because both teams are better than us right now and that’s due to coaching, we haven’t had one since 9 months before Poch left.

I'd take theirs, I'm sure the coaching is great, but it's not just that, it's because our players are mostly mentally weak.
 
I have been among those insisting for him to be given time but:
1. To start the NLD with not even ONE summer signing is frankly bewildering if not criminal. Is he saying he can do more with the squad he inherited than Mourinho and Pochettino?
2. Then to compound it all he opts for a formation which is so obviously unsuited for the players we have... the only round holes that can take round pegs is 4-2-3-1
3. Persisting with players who are so obviously not up to it. Dele and Ndombele being the prime suspects.

We can discuss Kane in his thread....
 
2 goals from open play in 6 league games.

I literally can't see anything improving from here. It is getting worse by the day.

I honestly blame that self imposed transfer ban during 2018/19 which also saw the loss of Dembele but this guy hasn't looked great sobfar to be honest.

Nuno needs to be brave, do what Poch did and get the wormtongues out of the team. It’ll be harder for Nuno though as our problems are the clubs most expensive ever signing and the formerly talismanic record goals scorer.
