Harry Kane MBE

If bricky were serious they would not have wasted £100m on Grealish but instead would have gone all out for Kane.

I think this will not only cost them the CL, but I can definitely see Chelski pipping them to the title

Pep must be sitting there seeing his Champion League hopes fading ever quicker with all the big name movements to Chelsea, PSG and possibly Real. What a shame.

I'd be sooo tempted if I was DL to keep the City hotline off the hook for the next 10 days whatever.

He was in a proper sulk the other day

He was asked if he was happy with the squad and he said something along the lines of yes, but the owners have a responsibilty to keep moving the club forward.

Is he the most over rated manager there has been?

We're now within 7 days of the transfer window closing and realistically, this has to be the cut off point for Levy and Paratici to sell off Kane. Getting in a replacement at this point would prove problematic and, as we're seeing with Romero, any new arrival will take some time to fit in with the established squad.

The same philosophy does not extend to outgoings nor should it extend to any additional incomings that aren't replacements for Kane. We wouldn't want to see Daniel Levy deprived of his annual day of greatest joy, especially with so many pending opportunities to exploit.
Was more take it or leave it earlier in the window, but with the deadline approaching, for the reasons you mention, I really don't want him to leave now.

I won't breathe a sigh of relief until the window is actually closed. These transfer sagas tend to have a late twist to them, and I'm not at all convinced that Kane doesn't have it in him to push even further for a move.

Can only say that Levy, Paratici and Nuno have handled this really well so far, at least seem from the outside and hope that they keep handling it well.

It seems time is running out for us to find an alternative to Kane, i dont believe he can be replaced as there's not a player with his abilities, a few with other attributes but none with his all round game. Selling now leaves us little time to spend well.

Does anyone actually rate him?

Here’s an idea Pep - how about you save 150m, coach Jesus and actually turn him into a top striker? Considering you have a team of top stars and Jesus has decent enough attributes, I’m sure it’s not difficult for such a top coach…..

It’s definitely a fair point that he’s only won with money or the best player of all time (Messi). You still need to get teams over the line which he did at Barca and he has done in the premier league here but he has failed miserably in Europe for both Bayern and City. For me, he’s a notch below Simeone and Klopp.

Pep now gets to prove that he can win the league without the best striker, so obviously the other £1bn he has spent doesn't count anymore

What will the media talk about now????
Kane's lack of ambition
Why contracts shouldn't be respected
How Emirates Marketing Project should be sympathised with for not being able to buy someone at the price they want
How evil Daniel Levy is trying to disrupt the natural order of things

They will absolutely NOT talk about how wrong they were in believing that Kane was off.
