Harry Kane MBE

Watched DAZN on Sunday and Michael Owen was chirping away in that sing-song, 14-year-old's voice of his that Kane would definitely be moving, that it would happen even if Kane had to go 'out of character' and go on strike.

And Tony Adams, with that perpetual rictus grin, goading him on. Awful to watch, easy to laugh at.

What good has going on strike ever done anyone ever. The teachers do it just for a day off.

Maybe kane wants to take the missus up Westfield for some filler while he and the kids go to nandos.

Imagine if the rumours in The Mirror turned out to be true, and Liverpool pulled Haaland out of the hat this window. That would put a massive fire under both Manchester-clubs, and could instigate a serious bidding war.

With Lukaku firing on all cylinders from the very start at Chelsea, Haaland entering Anfield, could they accept being without a talisman signing of their own?

It would be massive to see them outbid eachother, go past 200 millions, just for Levy to hang up on them... :)

Neville was trying to get United interested today for sure ..

Latest "leak" is apparently the only real bid City put in was £75M cash +add ons to £100M

Kane really should be tinkled .. with City, fudging £25M less than Grealish?

He should be fuming
That’s a clear indictment of how little they fancied him

He’s a much better fit at United. I know I am an old fart but who are City anyway just another northern provincial team. United are United.

We’ll have Greenwood and £150M for starters.
Whilst I love the media silence approach the Club has taken and I fully endorse it and want it to continue - I do like the idea of us suddenly bursting out of the gates just to completely unsettle another club and their players in return (City, United I don’t care) by putting out an extreme scenario for their players just to fudge with everyone’s heads and for them to STFU. OK, Kane = Bruno plus £50m. Grealish plus £60m. Ake plus £180m (and you can have Ake back).

You. Have. Nothing. We. Want.

Exactly. Not sure why they didn't bid that two months ago, would be madness to accept now with so little time left.

Its paper talk. As you say, if they'd wanted him then they'd have tabled the right offer long before now

Its good that its emerged that their initial offer was £75m cash plus £25m players who we dont want - will help heal rifts with Harry and make it clear that CIty are the guilty party in all this

Could see it if we've been preparing for that and have deals lined up for how to spend that money.

Every hour every day makes it harder and less likely. Even if we have deals lined up teams we'd want to buy from would need to find their own signings in turn.

Will be interesting to see if Kane is willing to push even harder for a move if a proper bid from City does come in.

Edit: just to add, thought what he did when he came on against Wolves looked positive. Booked for time wasting, selfless play, looked willing to fight for the team and for a result. Happy to see that. Reintegration might go quickly and hopefully no more shenanigans from Kane.

On the basis that the qualifications for being an agent are knowing a footballer and knowing people at a couple of football clubs, I'd say he's far more qualified than Charlie.
On second reading, I think I've overstated the requirements massively.

The basis for being an agent is knowing a footballer and knowing how to Google/dial the numbers of a couple of clubs.

I would take 130m plus Palmer and Delap, give it 3 years they would be offering 130m.for those two individually. Don't know why more clubs just don't promote their youngsters.

Instead of signing another striker we could give Scarlett game time before a loan next season and then bring Parrott back.

I believe the F.A. provide the services of agents to cut deals as part of the players subs. Apparently barely any of the players use them. I find it particularly odd for players signing Pro contracts with their first club.
