Harry Kane MBE

Starting to feel somewhat inevitable that he's off, and will only be at Levy's price

Only question is whether its straight cash or cash+players

I’ve regularly read Spurs fan say he owes us nothing…. I mean he is literally getting paid £200k a week to play football for us, so he does owe us a lot actually
I couldnt agree more. I'm not quite at the 'wouldnt clean my car with his shirt' stage yet, but feel let down.

He is in dire need of someone putting an arm around him and giving him some proper advice

He does seem poorly advised given that its clear that he has a back channel to city already. Seems that he or his team felt like they needed to make things public

The way I see it, is if there was a gentlemen agreement, the transfer still needs to be sorted out, we want xxx amount city wants to pay xxx, so not turning up when no real offer is made, is not down to us, so Kane is wrong to do what he did.

At the end of the day we don't know what conversation him and levy have had and if he has done this then it highlights how desperate he is to leave.

No point having a miserable player who doesn't trust the club or chairman.

If Levy has gone back on his word, of which he expects of all others then its really a matter of when and not if Kane leaves.

@JerusalemMan you don't need to read this, ironically you think this forum is yours and telling others to go elsewhere ... the irony of your name synonymous to your views is hilarious

Agreed....but it still needs City to match the asking price...

Are you siding with what Kane wants for himself, over what Levy wants for our club?

He wants to go so be it.Name on the back of the shirt will never be bigger than the crest on the front.

The concern is now that he does go and getting a replacement in . We are so short in that department as it is.

This could play out the rest of the month and will be a distraction for the first few games. Honestly feel like we are in for a bit of a car crash of a season going forward.

He’s been a great servant to the club a legend in fact but behaving badly will quickly tarnish that for a lot of people.

As for Mr Levy if Kane does go I hope he extracts the urine out of City and takes them for every penny he can.

It’s pretty unbelievable to me there was a gentlemen’s agreement that would allow Kane to break his contract and move to a rival.

And also dubious that this pathway was precluded from the complex six year contract signed by both parties at that time.

It’s just a tinkletake and will have got Levy’s back up.

Probably part of the reason Levy hired Mourinho was as a last roll of the dice, trying to placate Kane and win something. So they were talking last summer. Levy would not have said 100m. That will be Kane's wishful thinking. Even Nevile said it might be double the tonne. Quite a funny moment that, as Kane is clearly trying to engineer something with that interview. But how poorly has his team managed it? Bunch of amateurs. It is surprising how wealthy millionaires with their entourages are so routinely badly advised. Danny Rose springs to mind. His whole career derailed because he wasn't guided. Relatively young men without much education, it is no surprise really. But you'd hope they would hire people who could take care of things.

The big question is do City have the cash, and are they willing to splash it? It is a huge amount for any football club especially if they also sign Grealish. The charade of them working within the same constraints as other clubs would truly be blown out the water. And we saw how the public reacted to the Super League greed. So even if City have the cash, I don't think they would sign both. It's one of Kane or Grealish. Maybe Kane knows that, and he has to act fast. Now or its not happening this season, and he's rolling the dice himself.

It is only covid testing, so not a big deal really. However, without a Manger he knows, it is not clear who brings Kane back into the fold. But I expect he will train now. He is just putting down an extra chip in this game of poker; before city lay their cards out. Kane has to have a reality check - if City are not paying well over 100m - 120-140 plus a player or else this move is not happening. It is his fault for being so goddamn good. Fuking idiot! Oh and Kane, pay your bro off, and get some proper representation.

This smacks of the bale transfer. Where he went to spain for 2 weeks.

Wasn't to force a move. Deal was in place.

Just everyone getting their houses in order first.

He doesn't owe the fans anything for his 200k per week. That renumeration is for playing and scoring.

He owes the fans respect for the love he's received but not for the money he is paid.

No but he has 3 years left on his contract. So he owes the club to honour the contract unless someone matches the value the club set.

I think it's all done though.

Done as in inevitable? I mean it cannot be that all parties are subscribed to the transfer already because Harry’s actions today could only be because he had no choice as it damages his rep.
