Daniel Levy - Chairman

It sounds like he has taken a job somewhere else ("ahead of a new challenge") so has been stepped aside whilst his notice is served (seems a common set up in football).

Not sure why it needs an anti-Levy agenda being drafted on to it on such little information.

what exactly do you think PR is?

clearly not only have bad decisions been made, but the club's PR has been fudging awful, just see recent lack of control on the manager search, allowing rampant speculation that allows the perception of the club being a circus is not acceptable ..

Ultimately making that many bad decisions in a row is going to reflect badly on the club no matter who is in charge of PR.
Not sure how he can "control" rampant speculation. The leaks were clearly coming from Paratici to his Italian journos. Paratici reports to the chairman, not to Felstein. Easy enough for the chairman to put a lid on that surely?

Re manager search, a very simple statement that we were evaluating multiple candidates and would not be making an appointment until post DoF joining would have been very simple to control the view that the clubs "was close" multiple times and we were lurching from one candidate to another (as vs. multiple conversations). It's PR's fudging job to advise the Chairman of how to manage the external messaging.

PR manages perception for Oil and Tobacco companies ffs, Spurs shouldn't be that hard.

If he's been pushed it smacks of Levy once again making someone else the fall guy for his own mistakes.

Pretty sure Felstein didn't appoint Mourinho, furlough staff, sign up to the ESL, or leak our managerial targets to the press before we ended up with our 5th choice 70 days later.

Any bad PR around the club rests in the chairman's decisions over the last 2 years. Unless polishing turds was in Felstein's JD?

1+1 makes 3 in your world i see.

Yep, but to be fair, two things can be true in this case - Levy's failures and our Comms being terribly poor. A stronger Comms guy might at least have argued against some of the disastrous decisions we've made over the past year (furloughing et al) from the PR standpoint, and would also be more hands-on in moving us away from the 20 years of Levy's comms model of a pointless Chairman's message every year and Iraqi Information Minister-style spin doctor videos whenever the fans see through the charade.

I'm all in favour of getting a better Comms guy. Hell, we have a new DoF, a new Comms guy, a new head of partnerships...go on, keep revamping the staff, because it's all gone incredibly stale and we look a bit like a Mr.Byrite discount clothing store in a world of High Street boutiques.

Personally I think it's a shame that it seems he is leaving as opposed to it being Spurs that pushed him. Had it been the latter then I would be happy that we'd identified a poorly run part of the club and were trying to do something about it.

Fingers crossed we can take advantage of him leaving and do that anyway.

I read that Levy's young daughter is getting 'pointed comments'/aggressive interaction from Spurs fans on her TikTok account for daring to feature a video that her dad was in.

What goes through these people's minds to do that? Have they nothing else in their lives of any value or meaning?

They are all clams and unfortunately the internet gives them the voice they are afraid to use in face to face situations.

Levys daughter or the trolls?

Its Naive of her to think that her dad who is high profile will not have people that do not like him, with some passion too. Its sad that she cannot post something that she likes with her dad ... but its the world and the bag in life that she has been given.

I'm sure she's aware that people may irrationally disapprove of her dad's job performance.
But it's not acceptable that people may then seek out his daughter's social media to comment about it.
