That’s a bit harsh! Up to these Euros he’s had 1 chance to win something with Belgium - the 2018 WC where they won 6 out of 7 games and lost the semifinal 1-0 to France. Other than that they have close to a 100% record in competitive games.
I’d be more worried/interested about why things went south so badly in his second season at Everton. They got 72 pts in his first which none of their managers since Howard Kendall has come even remotely close to achieving.
I’d be happy with Martinez at this stage. He knows the PL and has plenty of experience.

Why do you think it would impossible to attract Low?

If it is to be an International coach it would also give a credible reason to why we’ve allowed or even contributed to the many different links and then swift reversals as it protected them from any distraction to their Euro participation.

With Low being available and someone who likes to build something long term with an attacking football philosophy, is it that far fetched that he could be interested and fit the profile Levy mentioned first up?

Third point - maybe you and I don’t actually disagree on much in this debate then! I thought the implication of saying ‘people are getting worked up over rubbish on Twitter’ is to say we shouldn’t be getting worked up. And not getting worked up would suggest that things are fine. If things are not fine, the fan base has every right to feel frustrated. Maybe we shouldn’t be getting worked up because it’s a different basket of cheap free agent candidates that are available, that just haven’t been mentioned yet? Because it probably isn’t a club guy at this point.

Every one of these rumours regarding done deals has started with Romano, and been jumped on by gold in particular and retweeted as if its true.
Not trustworthy.

Its too sensible an appointment...and if we were going to go to him, we'd have done it a while ago. I think Paratici's appointment further reduces the prospect of him getting it.

I think it'll be Martinez or Nuno, but still dont get why Favre isnt in the frame

I question whether many managers in their 60s (Rangnick, Low, Favre etc) might want to join a club where there's going to be at least a couple years of constrained spending. Particularly someone like Low who probably doesnt need the hassle and has spent 15 years managing his national team

There’s probably 10-15 million reasons they could be tempted.

London is also attractive for the family and football managers to seem to go on longer in the job, I guess it’s a way of life that’s difficult to replace in retirement?
