European Super League - Dead on arrival

Not for me i am afraid to say, i am a old fart i know but i have seen enough changes to our game over the years that have ruined what used to be the best sport around. Played it into my 40s and worked in it for many years, traveled all over this and many countrys abroad watching Spurs and to be real honest my love is fading for it. We shall see i guess but i really hope that our club grow some balls and pull out of Derp

Which changes have you seen?

Look I agree this poxy elite league looks desperate and ill-conceived. But for a couple of seasons, and to shake things up, I would happily watch us against the best, and see us take some significant revenue. No one has banned the oil-doped clubs. You could make a case that this is less un-sporting than oil barons distorting fair competition.

Are you confident that if we pulled out that we could survive given our revenues would fall substantially due to lower TV money etc?

Of course not but then again i do not think anyone could be confident that we will not survive.

You are joking, there have been many made and mostly to do with the rich getting richer and fudge the rest.

The more I listen to Gary neville the more I'm for it.
Closed shop, no relegation, can you imagine the melt down if utd or Liverpool were on the verge of relegation.
