Jose Mourinho - SACKED

That’s cool
I think he is brilliant as I’ve said
But I agree staying put maybe help him
Issue is always how long is too long at a club
I'd be down for trying him out. I tend to prefer system coaches who have a clear and set pattern that they adhere too which means at the very least you can bring players in who suit the that system. I think it's also more likely to maximise the qualities of the players that fit that preferred system.

he doesn’t have a system
His teams will play multiple systems in a game
He is so fluid

So in the last two days three separate football journos have written stories referencing opinions on Mourinho from inside the dressing room.
The dressing room are briefing against him.
He is done.
When leaves will depend on how quickly Levy can find his replacement.

I'm not sure Levy will wait for the replacement. He's appointed caretakers before. If Jose is causing problems, better to cut out the rot first and then wait for the solution.

There's various possible caretakers out there: Harry, Benitez, Howe, Jardim, Sarri, Valverde, Allegri...the main thing is getting rid of Jose first.

I'm going to mention one successor name which will come up and which Levy might like, but will put my tin-hat on first..........

Gareth Southgate

Yup, much like just over a year ago the dressing room seems to have decided they want a different coach... guess it comes down to whether Levy wants another new coaching team or rebuild the playing squad...

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has revealed an invitation for dinner with his players next week shows they are still behind him. Spurs' wretched start to the season, where they have won just three games, has been dogged by reports of dressing room unrest and players unhappy at the Argentinian's methods.

As Tottenham sink gradually deeper into their malaise, as angst infects the players with heavy limbs and heavy minds, we’re left wondering whether Spurs’ developing crisis is the result of emotional exhaustion or tactical stagnation. The bad news for Mauricio Pochettino is it’s both.

MAURICIO POCHETTINO says there is no point tearing into his Tottenham flops - because telling them they are "s**t* won't solve anything. Pochettino has watched his side lurch into crisis after a dismal start to the campaign which has effectively ruled them out of winning two trophies within two months.

The Argentinian has long spoken about his desire to freshen up his group at Spurs, talking before the summer of a “painful rebuild”. But that never materialised as the club were unable to move out a number of players, which in turn affected their recruitment. The mood of the squad as a result has been cited as the key reason for their poor start to the season, which has seen Pochettino’s position come under scrutiny.

Just seen this

40 secs in. "long since Spurs have won a title? 1961? yes. Maybe I can give them one."

Arrogant little prick. It wont be long until he starts his "Respect" rant.
Wish he'd seriously fudge off now, he shows no respect for any club he manages.
Only Kane and Son "have the characteristics" of a 10+ goals a season player, what about Bale and Dele?
He brought Vini in and he isn't a 10+ goals a season player?

His comments are awful - the club should fine him. The answer to the female reporter the other night about why he didnt bring Bale on was purely rude and, if you want to bring in the gender of the person who asked the question, worse than just rude. Obviously unclear whether he answered that way just she was female but comes across very negatiely, which then impacts on the club. Another reason why we need to be rid of him

I don't know whether he is sexist, but the way he answered that reporter and his treatment of the female doctor at Chelsea does raise the question.

He tried to get in her draws and she knocked him back! I was told by my old accountant who did some for Chelsea.

I don't know whether he is sexist or not, but he's been a snarky fudger to male journalists too.

He was rude, and being so to the press won't benefit him in anyway.
