Jose Mourinho - SACKED

it is, what manager is going to publicly give away their thought process

there is never going to be an honest answer to that question, so why ask it?

if you approach managers thinking about the questions they won't answer, you'd end up with some polite to'ing and fro'ing much like an afternoon tea in Frimley. I wanted to know why he didn't. He warmed the poor bastard up and then didn't let him on.

teams are not picked based on how much each players earns, it makes more sense to me to ask questions about things that did happen, hypotheticals are endless and irrelevant

No hypothetical there. He has a top player on the bench who was warmed up and then not brought on. His answer could tell you an awful lot more about where he's coming from. In the event, it told me an awful lot about where he's at -which is where I think he is. Up brick's creek of his own creation.

That’s where I’ve arrived at. Defeat in the next 2 and it could be curtains as we will be 10th-ish.

Even a draw and a loss might not be enough.

When Jose does eventually go Could we lure Brendan from Leic? Think we’d be lucky to get him. Doubt he’d come. Depends on timing obvs.

Agree. Draw v WBA and loss at Everton could finish things for him

Our next two games after that are City away, which on current form could be a hammering, and then we go to WEst Ham who are bang in form

I don't see how he survives into March. I'd happily see us losing each of those games if it meant he was sacked. Would mean we could re-set sooner, rather than limp on for a couple months and then sack him

He warmed the poor bastard up and then didn’t let him on? All the subs were warming up, he’s getting over 200k a week for sitting on the subs bench and doing a little warm up and most crucially he has rarely done anything when on the pitch so I’m not sure why you feel sorry for him....

It will have to get an awful lot worse than those first two result for Levy to get rid imo. It’s unlikely that all four of the results you mention will go against us (especially if Kane or Reggie reappear). 3 or 4 points buys more time.

I will still be very surprised if he is gone before summer at the earliest. Win the League Cup and he’ll start next season.

I agree with the sentiment of your post. But on Bale’s performances on the pitch - has he done less than Bergwijn, Lamela and Moura, who have 2 goals between them in 1,816 minutes of Premier Leaue football?

Think he is gone whatever now, I imagine the shortlist is already being drawn up as we argue about who Levy will let down next.

In Mourinho's favour is the lack of crowds. Our performances (setting aside results) would see him out very very soon in my opinion

Its quite feasible that we draw against WBA and West Ham, lose v ManC - that would be 11 points from 13. Can he really survive that? We'd probably be in the bottom half

Agree, but that’s the problem - has Bale done anything to suggest he will produce anything more? Against weaker opponents in the EL he has looked mediocre at best. We still need a big clear out squad wise no matter who the manager is....

I just don’t see him sacking him
I want him gone because the players and him are so far apart currently it’s scary
But I can’t see levy doing it currently
