So you could say that people who believe in a world society for things like trade between countries were not perhaps racist or little englanders as so often said.

I also believe the other poster was making the point that it was British scientists and companies who have be behind these developments often supported by the British government and by virtue of that the British taxpayers.

That being the case would it not be reasonable to expect british people to receive vaccines first and some credit given to the British government.

Or is it the case that no credit can ever be given to this country about anything in any sphere of life while the is a conservative government. Which I think is really at the heart of a lot of issues right now.

Waiting for someone to mention the slave trade....

Anyone with a tattoo as I have said many times before should be shot or at least have their benefits stopped.

Dont think I would ever want to live in a self proclaimed great country. I keep saying the country I want to live in would be hard working kind and decent.

If we ever an over supply of vaccines the kind decent thing would be to give it to countries that can not afford their own and I do not see how anyone could disagree with that.

Not saying your doing this but people keep making out like brexiters are this old people wanting some sort of revival of the empire and it is just does not ring true of the 50 or so people I know well that voted that way.

Wow you really are on one.
103000 people have died so far many from bad decisions you have acknowledged have been made by this government. Yet no one from the government has resigned so far. Do you expect me to give the UK government credit? I dislike the Tories you're right and their handling of this pandemic has reinforced why. But tbh I ddnt like Corbyn or the Lib Dems.

I am glad you are safe and well. Lots of people havent been as lucky.

I’m a 44 year old middle class white man
I voted for brexit for business blackmail reasons (things I’ve said before)
But I do know a lot of knuckle draggers through going to Tottenham TBF and also from my old council estate I grew up
Their views are genetically biased and racist tbh. I mean I regular have to correct them on the image they post frequently of the soldier who can’t get a house (but those damn immigrants do)... with the correction that the guy in the photo is a convicted Rapist which limits his benefits and housing rights
Some even go on the FLA matches and are anti Muslim... then go home for a kebab or curry:(:(

but there are levels and choices we all make

Your right I acknowledge the government has made many mistakes and said that in many post as you pointed out.

But yeah you know what they got the vaccine procurement correct so get credit for that.

You admit in your post you dislike the tories. Which is at the heart of so many different people's reactions at the moment. Did not vote for them last time, 2010 was the last time actually and that was only my 2nd time voting for them.

As for resigning, who has resigned from other countries. Europe in general has been poor which is why Britain France Spain and Italy have all had similar death tolls when you actually count care homes.

No I'm not on one but for the sack of variety why dont we have some impartiality?

We should definitely offer to share our vaccine supply with the Republic of Ireland given the open land border.

We’d only sacrifice a weeks national effort in having the entire Irish vulnerable cohorts vaccinated.

See I think he is an inadequate prime minister and has made numerous mistakes. But in a thread where he has rightly been called to book numerous times. When he or his government get something right you use that moment to post a picture I assume you think is negative by you calling him a clown.

It almost smacks like you have an agenda.

The needs to be an parliamentary investigation into some of what went on in covid. The money being paid for track and trace being front of the queue. One thing I can tell you is nothing is such a big turn off for a swing voter like myself as the left becoming rabid. It is how major won in 92 despite being out of his depth.

As for the photo was it his fault the zip wire got stuck or is it the waving of flags. Because an awful lot did that in 2012.

the conservative vaccine strategy is simple, buy buy buy. The same as every piece of procurement his gang have been involved in. When it came to actual trying to sort track and trace from scratch his gang have been an unmitigated cluster feck!
