Dier, Alderweireld, Aurier, Sissoko, Lamela, Bergwijn, Alli, Bale. All very experienced Champions League level campaigners.

which top level CL side would take them?

how many would United/Chelsea take - which I guess is a better question as that’s what we are aiming for.

Alli?

Bale is looking done.

Leicester won the league on counter attacking football.

Each of those are as inconsistent as well.

Chelsea have a better squad that us

Put Bruno in our team and we would be at a different level.
This isn’t counter attacking football.

If we had bought Bruno, there’s a bloody good chance he wouldn’t be making the 9 on the bench.

I really don't think this is down to effort at all. Kane was brick tonight but I think he was trying. He's completely isolated and teams are getting players around him because they know if you stop Son and Kane, we have no one within 20 yards of them to do anything.

I don't think he can be stopped when he's playing at his best, when was the last time he stuck one in from outside the box, he used to get 2/3 of those a game.

He had a lot of the ball tonight and time to find a pass, we need a lot more from him, he's the superstar, he needs to get it done.

Unlikely, from that amazon doc he wanted to
Play CHristian but couldn’t - no reason as to think he wouldn’t play Bruno

plus he played lo celso for the run it

Because we end up conceding 3 goals in 10 minutes probably.

We lost two points because of that.

In the past week, sitting on his damn 1-0 leads and at 1-1, we've lost five.

Again, this man is supposedly smart. What on Earth is he thinking sitting back on 1-0, in the Premier League, with a backline of Dier, Davies, Sanchez and Doherty?

Even if the opponent never does a thing, one of that lot will kick the ball into our net out of spontaneous brain combustion. And then Dier will point a lot and look angry, and mumble about needing to do better after the game.

I don't blame them - they're average by nature, and Dier in particular has been this way since 2014, he'll never change change evolve one bit. But why rely on them? Send it to Kane, Son et al - people you *can* rely on. Not this motley bunch at the back.

When he was doing that, we were attacking in waves so teams had to think about Walker, Rose, Eriksen, Alli and Son. Now, stick two players on Son and two on Kane and Spurs have fudge all else and those two can’t make space because they’re smothered.
